I dreamed last night that pweb was a physical entity, and all the threads were like rooms - or like departments in a big store. I bumped the crafty thread and it was all full of various material and clothing that people could grab to craft with. Ali, Nomi and Steph were all really excited and kept taking stuff and saying stuff like "I'm so glad you bumped this! I love this thread! There's so much good stuff to work with in here."

I totally want to have that dream. TOTALLY.
There's another home somewhere,
There's another glimpse of sky...
There's another way to lean
into the wind, unafraid.
There's another life out there...

Kirsten, Adam, good to see you guys last night. You were both at work with me and Kirsten was working on her dissertation while Adam was...I don't know what he was doing but he was there.

No, it'd sound like Adam if he were psychoanalyzing me and my decisions, and peppering sporadic conversation with some random movie previews and various political and sports links.

Preface: Usually I'm aware in my dream that I am, in fact, dreaming. This was not the case last night however.

I was dreaming about House (the TV Show). I was actually there, however I knew it was a TV show too. So was human., and it was very strange because I spent the entire time going "Er, human. is supposed to be in college, not acting! That can't be human.!". House kept being his usually mean-House-self toward human. because she was the smartest one out of a group of student doctors. At one point I found out human.'s in-my-dream name was "Will" (short for WHAT? Why would my brain decide to use my name for her, except with another L?), and so I found a computer in my dream and searched IMDB for human.'s name trying to figure out if it WAS her. Toward the end of the dream I was still so confused that whenever I looked at human., sometimes it would look like human. and other times it wouldn't, so much that at times it would be half-human.'s face and half-other-face.

Nice bump. Rahl, of all people, showed up in my dream this morning.

I was on a tour boat and the crew was giving a safety demonstration. When they got to the portion about abandoning ship in the event of an emergency, he was modeling the inflatable boat. Not sitting inside it or standing near it and pointing out noteworthy features but actually wearing it, deflated, as an ankle-length skirt. When questioned about the effectiveness of a gaping hole being in it (where his waist was), he shot back with it being all the rage with the type of people who would ask such things.

Possibly the weirdest Pweb dream I've had.

Jan, I can tell you not only are you having a girl baby but also that she will be Mexican. You're welcome.

Jan, Caspian, Ginny, and new baby were in my dream this morning. They were living in my house -acquired legitimately and all- after I moved to Chicago and I found them here when I was coming back for a visit. It was supposed to be a short trip that ended up getting extended by a week and Paul and I ended up riding to the airport together when I finally did leave.

Sweet. I've always wanted a Mexican baby. Did she have a name? We don't really have a girl name settled yet.

I don't recall but have no fear. If you can't come up with anything, you can borrow my BabyTime baby's name. Sweet little blonde, blue-eyed angel...Conchita Guadalupe Maria Teresa (<--spelled wrong but that's more traditional).

Where is it spelled wrong?

Conchita makes me giggle, i remember last time i explained a non-spanish-speaker what the name meant :D It is a beautiful name, nevertheless.

Mine has an "h" in it, which is the right way. :D

Not a pweb related dream but I just felt like mentioning it:

I had a dream that there was this chicken at school/work and for some reason I had to keep petting it to prompt it to lay an egg. Other teachers I work with kept asking me if the egg had come out yet, and insisted that I call them when it did.

I'm not sure why this dream stands out in my mind. Maybe it means something...

And you are right as long as you agree with me  Being always right is something i inheritted from my mom.
Most peculiarly, we do not always agree...

And yes, Mich, my mom is Spanish ;) So i am, my dad, my brother, my grandparents...

I had a dream last night in which Ollie and I were going to a sort of PwebCon. However, it was like some kind of exclusive party or club; so we were waiting in a really long line to get in. And I was thinking to myself, "Hey, we've been pwebbers forever, why can't we get into this party?!" On the plus side, Ollie was his usual amusing self and kept me entertained while waiting in the line.

Last night I had a dream that I was at Paul and Jan's house and they were thinking of hiring me to be their personal assistant/nanny. It didn't totally make sense since I live days away but in some dream-like way, I also lived right nearby. Anyway, I was having fun playing with Ginny and Maggie.

Steph and her two little men were in my dream last night. I had gone to CO because we somehow convinced most of the adults here to make a visit and she wanted my help getting ready for that.

Her house wasn't surrounded by land in the dream; her back porch opened up to a little lake and across the lake, there were men singing and wearing kilts, so maybe that explains why I didn't see Brian.

I dreamed last night that EL stole my identity! We were living in the same house, along with Kim and I discovered a wallet with my license with EL's face on it. I confronted her, she said she'd been planning on fleeing the country and needed a different identity, but it was only my license that she needed.
I told her that was okay, then Kim and I went out for a drink with some people from Vet school. But when I went to pay, I discovered ANOTHER wallet in my pocket with a ton of stuff - a work visa, an Ontario license, birth certificates for my kids - all fake and clearly for EL.
Then I got REALLY mad and confronted her, because clearly she was going to kidnap my kids and take them with her.
I think I may have called the cops before I woke up.
