I grew up and let my hair grow long.
Sorry, I didn't actually mean this as "long hair is childish," it just was for me. I kept it shaggy because it was easy to deal with, and I felt it made me look younger, too. Whereas Rei is that "cool guy with a ponytail" look and Satya has... well, what does Satya have, actually?Same here. My hair has never been longer

We made it just for fun, but Mr. Tailer (the guy with the awesome hat) has won all but one of the sand-structure competitions he has entered in his life. Part of the trick is in vibrating the sand/water mixture to keep it in colloidal suspension, and then pouring and setting it like concrete before you try and sculpt it down.
My contributions to this space-church-castle-thing were in bowing the sides out before they slope up to the cross on top, constructing the bestiary on the left (which is mostly obscured by Courtney and I), and in these two shots:

Jeebs, is will.i.am of the Black Eyed Peas stroking your neck with the back of his hand?

Please. Where is your hand?Wow, I never noticed that...
Not only do I think you're playing grab-ass with him, I think there were some more shenanigans between you two the night before (would explain his hair looking like someone took a bite out of it, you kinky bastard) and this picture was taken to serve as a reminder for all of time the love you shared for just one night.
I now expect you to pull some strings -not to his heart, you cruel man- to get in touch with some Who's Who in Hollywood so that Edward Norton may finally realize his love for me, that he tried, in vain, to live out with that ghastly Salma Hayek.

My camping trip to sequoia in three pictures:
"I won this red Jeep and all I had to do was nearly cut off my thumb!"
There are a couple of more pictures here, but they're somewhat gory.
Basically, I did something exceptionally stupid with a knife while carving a notch in to a piece of wood. Two inch cut on the outside of my thumb just above the point where it connects to my palm. Knife bounced off the bone. No damage to arteries or tendons. Clean cut. No infection. All is well.

I like how the red Jeep and everything is positioned in that picture so that, at first glance, I thought it was a cabin-car.
You know.
A cabin car.
Also: oouuuch.

Dude! You're SMILING! I think that's the only picture you've ever posted of yourself smiling, and it's when you've practically hacked your thumb off. Hilarious.
Also, you should smile more.
Also, OUCH.
Also, I am a freak who thinks that the way stitches make people look all Frankensteiny is kinda cool.

Congrats, Kim! I especially like the first and fifth pictures... but where's his ring? Actually, I don't even know if a guy traditionally wears an engagement ring.
Interesting fact I learned about why we wear wedding rings on our left ring finger today: It was originally thought that a vein, called the vena amoris, in our left hands ring finger was directly connected to our heart.
