I hate when I take a test and feel pretty good about it, but then find out that it didn't go as well as I thought. It totally ruins the rest of the day. I also hate that they can't tell me what areas I had problems with. How am I supposed to change or improve if I don't know what I did wrong?
I think I'll take the afternoon off and continue this job hunt thing tomorrow.

This news story makes me seriously mad. What the hell, parents?

It's even worse about the class-mates themselves... aren't they teens? at their peak of rebelliousness and idealism? People almost at university age stooping down to attend to a parent organized party in detriment of one of them, i mean, seriously...This news story makes me seriously mad. What the hell, parents?

Yeah, it's hard to imagine a bunch of teenagers being pissed at the girl who got the "official prom" canceled in the first place...It's even worse about the class-mates themselves... aren't they teens? at their peak of rebelliousness and idealism? Step softly; a dream lies buried here.

But i have to agree, victim-blaming is all too common. In March, after the Itawamba County School District refused to allow McMillen to bring a female date to the prom, the district canceled the event altogether.

*Double Trouble*
I need to earthquake-proof my room and it will take longer than I want to spend doing it. I could ignore the fact that we keep having 3.5+ earthquakes and risk having a bookshelf fall and crush me or I can be smart, if not overly cautious, and take care of the glass/heavy items.

Having your faucet mysteriously pop off while doing dishes...
It's not that it's really that terrible, I mean it's just water and it's easily turned off, but the confusion that ensues when all of a sudden your counter's become a fountain takes a second to think "oh, hey, maybe if I turn that off that'll stop..."

Hardly ever watched the show, but I did have the computer game, and I was obsessed with it when I was 7.made me think of Carmen Sandiego
Hehe, Kit Kat commercial. My mom made fun of that. She said, "But Kit Kats don't even make a noise, let alone one that loud!"
You musn't be afraid to dream a little bigger, darling.

Man, I had USA, World, AND Time. Then my friend got World and it was based off of the cartoon instead of us, um, the normal kind and I got really confused.Hardly ever watched the show, but I did have the computer game, and I was obsessed with it when I was 7.made me think of Carmen Sandiego
The game show was where it was at, though. We even had it come to our mall, once.

I played the PC game in a computer class back in like 1990. I think that was before any show. I didn't even know they made a cartoon but I did watch the game show quite a bit. I wonder if there is a free version of it floating around anywhere...I miss that game.

So is this girl a complete social misfit or something? How the hell does a high school with hundreds of students keep a secret that big from one girl? Doesn't she have friends or acquaintances that could've told her what was going on?This news story makes me seriously mad. What the hell, parents?

She didn't get tricked, I don't think. The prom she went to was the proper prom hosted by the school I believe, which the student body boycotted in favour of a private prom organised by the parents to which this girl was not invited.
It's pure insanity, and I can not imagine that it would happen in a single other advanced nation on earth.

When people don't understand unspoken agreements. For instance, if you're discussing with someone that you're going to order pizza or do something for a meal together of that nature, but neither are hungry enough, so the person goes and does something else, and, when they get back, have eaten with that person. And you were waiting for them to get back because you thought you were eating together.
That's annoying.

When certain people's brothers like to mess with me.It's cancelled... You don't have to go out with him... you can with me though!Do not make me get up and put on all my makeup and pretty outfit, just to tell me it's cancelled.
Seriously though, that might happen once... lol

When these people I know from years and years ago contact me with just a "hey, what's up?".... repeatedly. I don't mind a few times; okay, you wanted to talk to someone from high school with no direction on what to say, that's fine. But when you try this numerous times, and every time it ends quickly with me not having anything to say to you, and you not having anything to say.... why do you keep doing it? We have nothing to say to each other!
