Lol
Despite being a man of science, i always enjoyed the Latin lessons immensely... maybe because translating seems so much like a puzzle, you have to know how pieces fit, but also you have to guess a bit, and see what's a more harmonious result ^_^

If you like puzzles and science, I encourage you to try the game Braid.
It boasts one of the most challenging puzzle games of all time, and is reminiscent of the old Mario sidescroller. You can buy it on Steam for $5.00, or for only $2.50 when it is on sale.

It's not even his advertising! He's advertising for a company that already has a well stablished marketing campaign :?

Furthermore... paying for a game is a completely alien concept to me :?: *cannot process*
*infinite loop*
*brain crash*

it's like... paying for a movie, or music... eewwwwww

I'm advertizing actually for a small-time game maker who does NOT have his own company. I still reccomend it, though. It's really great. just go to Steam.com, look up Braid, then buy it. It is really worth it.

I'd buy it, but I need a new heatsink first as my CPU runs at 60C (!!!) undervolted when in games... Too high for my tastes, and I can't overclock my CPU to a good 3.8 GHz cause I'm too worried about thermals. My CPU is rated to go to 62C safely, and 60C is too close to that. Then again, at idle, it's at 40C, which means I can hold off on a heatsink.

Runs at 60c?! jeez, thats hot! I ahve no idea where mine runs at, but it has burned out before when I played this one hi-res labor-intensive game. I want a new computer for my b-day that has AT LEAST pixel shader 3.1. the one I have now doesn't even have v. 1.1

If I didn't undervolt it by a whole tenth of a volt, it would be running at 65C in RuneScape! I'm using the stock cooler, so I'm not surprised... but it's too hot for me.

And they're like puppies! Gangly and uncoordinated and liable to fall over.
I had soccer practice tonight and during the pre-practice free-for-all, the kids were falling over each other left and right. I chuckled, thinking of the above quote and when I was asked what I was chuckling at, I explained. After that, every time we mentioned someone or something (like my pants during our all kids vs 2 adults scrimmage) falling/starting to fall, we'd tack on "Like puppies!"

Just reapplying some thermal paste may help quite a bit, if you haven't touched the heatsink from how it came. They don't always put it on right (or maybe mine just had crappy paste on it).

This still makes me laugh, in a horrified sort of way. For those not sure why, it's a karai, sort of an Indian wok. You cook in it. Except we didn't dare sell this one, and no one on staff was quite brave enough to take it home. For all I know, it's still taking up space in the stock room.

For those of you who have never heard of MST3K, here is a link to one of their funniest shorts:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_Hh4M4vipAo

Mst3k is just an old show which makes fun of really crappy old movies like "The Screaming Skull" and "Prince of Space" and stuff like that. This in particular is a "short;" they make fun of a short ten minute instructional video made for schoolchildren way back when. It's really funny.

Still, students at two area universities refused to bow to nature's fury. George Washington University and Georgetown University planned an official snowball fight at 2 p.m., and spent the morning cheerfully trading insults via Facebook.

A GWU student who is grammatically challenged offered these guidelines: "1) If I hit some GU senator's kid really hard, they can't sue. 2.) Please, please, please be aware that limo's probably can't make it through the snow, so GU kids, head over early.
So, Lone Star, now you see that evil will always triumph because good is dumb.
