Having my own office and my own private bathroom.
When I first heard I was getting one I was like, "oh, that's cool. I guess." A week into this gig and I'm wondering how people manage without one.

There's another home somewhere,
There's another glimpse of sky...
There's another way to lean
into the wind, unafraid.
There's another life out there...

My plants.
The fact that I have not killed my plants.
Tonight's pasta sauce (don't crowd the mushrooms!).
The smell of clean laundry.

My favorite awesome Squishy Pen. It's got this gel grip on it that's not like other cushion grips -- it's really gelly like and awesome. It's been my transition object and source of comfort and sanity since I changed offices, and helps me keep my professional vertigo under control.

I know one shouldn't judge a book by it's cover and yadda yadda and all. but I would think, 'oh they put an 8 instead of a B, this book is probably terrible.'I had to have said this before but I'm saying it each and every damn time it happens: I love getting galleys. One from this most recent bunch looks particularly good: NUM8ERS by Rachel Ward.
I think they made a movie that transposed an 8 for B in the word numbers and it was a terrible movie (or looked it). :-p
It would be awesome though if the book is indeed particularly good. despite the 1337 title!
So, Lone Star, now you see that evil will always triumph because good is dumb.

My Metroid Prime Trilogy. It came in a metal case and carried with it two updates of great games and an unadulterated version of another great game, and I love it so.
But Metroid Prime 2, why are you so much more frustrating than the others? It was the same on Gamecube, and I was hoping, now that I've played you before, you wouldn't be as painful. But there's just as much backtracking, just as much "holy jeeze I can't believe I missed that and tracked all over the world looking for something that was, in fact, in the first room I looked," just as much aggravation.
Must... power... through... for... excellent third game...

We should have no regrets. ... The past is finished. There is nothing to be gained by going over it. Whatever it gave us in the experiences it brought us was something we had to know.

One of my friends has a dog named Petra. It makes me happy. And my cousin named his son Ender, so I love him.
I also love that my great aunt is named Zelda.

I used to hate gravity because it would not let me fly. Now I realize it is gravity that lets me stand.

My great grandfather, and at least one of my great-uncles are named Tom Riddle.I have a great-relative of some sort (aunt? The sister of my great-grandfather) whose name was Petra. I was tickled, almost to the point of being pink, over that news.

I know this might seem very lame, but I love nothing better than having a miniature that matches a character you love playing as. And when I say character, I mean in a table-top game. Because there's just something better about having an accurate depiction of a character you've spent hours and hours developing.
I also love whoever sold me that mini, because I bought it at 10:30 Friday night, from eBay, and I got it today. That's one-day shipping!

I love pandas, and strawberry jam, and green tea, and writing, and playing the piano, and my ipod, and my hair, and cats, and turtles, and stars, and trees, and water, and the colour green, and the colour bloodred, and my bedroom, and my books, and my toothbrush, and how I don't have to wear glasses or braces, and my bike, and my brother, and BUCK-TICK, and Naitomea, and MYV, and my friends, and rings, and my psp, and my handwriting, and swimming, and badminton, and floor hockey, and zip-lining, and motorcycles, and the sky, and my koi, and the WORLD!
I have a lot more.....but.....I can't remember since my brain has turned into mush because of all the homework I have. I definitely DO NOT like homework.
