Back In The Day
Because I just don't think it's going to be possible to make the switch without a healthy dose of reminiscing, I thought we should have a place to get nostalgic about the days of limeade and Calvinball and "What the Rahl", so that all of our favorite Pweb quirks and inside jokes won't disappear into the Philotic Abyss (tm).

Oh, Calvinball. And Alliances. I'm still one of the sole surviving members of the Prarie Dog Alliance. The good ol' days, when HA and I used to duct-tape goats to the limeade tree.

jebus has already hit on a bunch of former pweb delights in his various postings around the board (paul is winning at the new forum, did you know?)
but i think what i'll miss most, actually, are the posts themselves. i always loved the history of the board. that i could go back and read what was happening months or even years ago.

You know, that and your icon go well together. And I hear where you're coming from...but i think what i'll miss most, actually, are the posts themselves. i always loved the history of the board. that i could go back and read what was happening months or even years ago.
Sometimes I wonder if this generation will be the most oddly documented, because there are so many holes from when people wanted to erase their pasts.

I'm blue. I can't help it. I was, simultaneously, almost at my 3,000 post and my 4th anniversary.
Much sadness. I liked going back into old posts and seeing how clever I was. Or thought I was.
Onward and upward?
Oh, and I liked the invisible thread.
Oh, and remember the little forum folder that was always just kind of hanging in space by the PhiloticWeb logo? When it first showed up there, it bothered me, but I grew fond of it.

I lost... I lost my arguments with OG. And my Harry Potter 3 thread. And the time I burnt John.

I miss having a second line on for the topic names, so that you could put a saracastic (or sincere) little explanation for your thread title. I miss that a lot.

into the wind, unafraid.
There's another life out there...
