Bright Star

Movie about John Keats, frontrunner for a lot of oscars, and from the woman who made The Piano. :-p

Wow. I'm as open minded and sensitive as the next guy, but I'd really have to love a girl for her to have a chance of dragging me to see that, and if she loved me back she wouldn't try.

You know... Paul is the one who convinced ME to watch Pride and Predjudice (the 5 hour version!) the first time.
It's not only girls who like movies like this.

Or maybe Paul is, like, the only guy in the universe like that.

BTW... that's not meant to be snarky, just informative.

I've never understood why homosexuals are supposed to be so filled with rage. What are you so mad about, gay dudes?
It's not "noob" to rhyme with "boob". It's "newbie" to rhyme with "boobie".

It probably happens when they break a nail or realise too late their clothes clolour scheme is clashing with that of their life-partner's or something equally stereotypical.

I am somewhat disappointed he's not a cybrid copy. But I love costume dramas so I will probably see this.

Yay, a reference to Dan Simmon's Hyperion novels! One of my favourite series. :D

I keep telling myself I'll reread Hyperion and read the rest of the series when I finally get around to reading the rest of the canterbury tales. :-p

all my knowledge of Keats comes from reading Hyperion, iirc.

So I know the name, and I vaguely know the guy's line of work. I cannot tell you a single one of his achievements.

I just read Hyperion/Fall of Hyperion last weekend so it is very fresh in my mind :) I have yet to conquer the Canterbury Tales though, even if I have liked the little I have read and my best friend loves it (them?). I think I still am looking forward to "Taking Woodstock" most for the rest of the year (besides District 9), though I need to still see "Moon," "Julie & Julia" and "The Hurt Locker."

I thought the same thing, too. Hyperion Cantos is my fourth favorite series.
