coming in 1st at SSBB twice in the same night, for the first time ever. Also, when the sap freezes and distills itself naturally and takes off about half the boiling time.

My iPod Touch.
Also, elfprince13's (can I call you Thomas or is that too personal?) location.
Edit: I just noticed that I own every second post in the last page here. Does that make me a posting whore or does that mean I love many things?

either way is fine. I'm occasionally tempted to use ::1 instead, but not as many people would find it amusing. Also, elfprince13's (can I call you Thomas or is that too personal?) location.
Also, I love drinking hot sap after it's been boiled down closer to syrup (nice and mapley, but still a nice drinkable consistency)

call me an old fogey (which I'm not) but I like dotted quads and while I agree that it's important to make the transition to ipv6, I still haven't found any reason I need to use it yet, since nothing I connect to uses it.Actually, I was considering suggesting you update it to this. Stop living in the what-will-hopefully-be-the-past-someday, man.I'm occasionally tempted to use ::1 instead, but not as many people would find it amusing.

DVDs and getting new ones, especially since I limit my purchases heavily nowadays. I just bought, Pinocchio BluRay, Digital Video Essentials (calibration tool) BluRay and the 400 Blows BluRay. and the Hiroshi Shimizu dvd set.
Books and getting new ones, though I haven't bought any in a while.
I love having libraries and being surrounded by walls of books and movies.

Edit: Also, the previous Penny Arcade.
Edit 2: God of War 2. I can't believe I'm just getting to play this. Definitely deserves failing a math test (in 5 days) over.

I love this card my mom gave me at midnight. It was a good start to the day...even if I ended up sleeping and starting it again.
I've said it before but it is no less true this time; I love getting snail mail.

on that note, I love that in the few short months I've been here I've cranked my way up to the 51st most active member, and closing fast on 50 (and probably better than that if you look at posts per day average)yeesh, look at her rank for today. or check the pweb birthday thread, it's the topmost thread of milagre.
[edit]
and googling elfprince13 brings my pweb profile up as the fourth result (and I had to dig down 6 pages to find one that wasn't me). Says a lot about how much Google loves pweb.

Just curious: where do you find your "activeness" rank? Or any rank here, actually?

New thing I love:
The Beatles. I can't believe it took me so long to listen to them. Although since my parents only listen to Christian, I'm lucky I found them at all. But they are, indeed awesome.

I love that I'm actually making money today and that today alone will pay off my portion of this month's car insurance.

Collecting. I collect the oddest things and then I get sick of them and scale down a great deal. The only things I haven't gotten rid of that I collect are my magazines, books, Bibles, and CD's.
When I was young (and younger) I collected toy cars, DragonBallZ DVD's, and pokemon and Yu-Gi-Oh cards. Grew out of those awful, expensive phases. Anyone else fall prey to the Pokemon days? I was a pre-teen at the time so give me a break!

still have almost every magazine I've gotten in the last 15 years (Popular Science, Calliope, Ranger Rick, Ladybug, Spider, Cricket and Cicada, plus all the family National Geographics). Haven't collected too many Bibles (and I just gave my first one as a gift to my Muslim friend), but I have some cool ones.Collecting. I collected several hundred cards without ever buying any. Pulled the "don't you feel sorry for the cute little kid" card a few times and traded up from there. I had some mad skills in Pokemon Blue version too.Anyone else fall prey to the Pokemon days? I was a pre-teen at the time so give me a break!

It might be safe to say my entire room is a collection of collections.
I have my SW memorabilia, mugs, Goofy knickknacks, monkey related objects, various forms of colored glass vases and bottles, magazines, DVDs, books if those count, movie theater/concert/Broadway tickets...all in high enough concentrations that I would consider them collections.
Most of my collections are what they are in terms of size because they were gifts given over the years, so I wouldn't dream of getting rid of or scaling any of them down.

Steven Colbert, upon hearing Neil Gaiman dis Tom Bombadil immediately launches into one of Tom's songs...off the top of his head.
Hell yeah, it just makes Colbert all the more awesome that he can do that.
and Tom Bombadil is awesome. He's like one of the great mysteries of literature, like Mercutio's dream. It's a WTF was that all about moment that's just all sorts of amazing, imo, I've actually read the Bombadil section several times over.
Neil Gaiman is still awesome though, despite his anti-Bombadil propaganda.
