EVE! WALL*E!
EVE! WALL*E!
it is completely acceptable to squeal with delight, damn this is possibly Pixar's best imo. It may soon become my favorite of their films. What a wonderful and utterly awesome delightful marverlous film. Love so much. I think I'm going to name my truck WallE

It is not only acceptable but even appropriate.
I definitely want to see it a few more times, if only to just get into the film better. And then I will buy it and hug it and squeeze it and call it Geor--
Okay, maybe not quite. But it is excellent and probably my favourite one yet.

This movie's adorable levels were clearly off the charts. It was a breath-stealing amount of cute. Not going to say it's my favorite of theirs, but it certainly didn't hurt them whatsoever. I do have to say, however, that it triggered a midly irrational, luddism paranoia of mine though. Fat humans being carted around in front of screens and sucking down slurpies while the earth becomes an utter wasteland of rusted scrap metal and McDonalds wrappers seems only too plausible.

I still can't really find any other way to describe this move except adorable. It's easily my new favorite Pixar film.
It's really just cute and it almost made me cry twice.

And there will come a time, you'll see, with no more tears.
And love will not break your heart, but dismiss your fears.
Get over your hill and see what you find there,
With grace in your heart and flowers in your hair.

I would call it kawaii, or maybe even Miyazakian (that's a mouthful), you could always go with tentative (referring to wall*e) and sweet. How could you describe it any other way but cute??
but yeah it's really charming and amazing. So much like City Lights in how beautifully the humor, romance and relationship are all integrated and developed by the story.
Really love this movie. I think I like it a little more each day.

I would like to watch it again to see how image and sound are used. That opening is very artistic and fascinating to watch. And then the art in the start of the closing credits is something I'd love to watch closer to see what styles were all used.

Haven't seen it myself, but what I've been hearing makes it seem like it at least won't be a complete waste of time.

I adored it. I had to wait till it came out here, alas. It was cute. And wonderful. I think it's my favourite Pixar film yet. I liked how the humans were portrayed more as having forgotten what "real" life is, rather than deliberately wanting to stay that way. I will see it again.
