Don't Feed the Bezoar!
I can't believe this thread wasn't created yet. Maybe we haven't needed it until now. But alas we do.
So just don't feed it.
So just don't feed it.

Sometimes, a bezoar will look up at you with puppy dog eyes like they haven't been fed in years and it's so hard not to give them a little scrap off the table. You think "Aww... I haven't seen a bezoar in so long, just this once, I'll give it something".
But, it's wrong. That scrap turns into a three course meal with extra gravy.

Except in the case of this Buffy episode , which is where Caspian coined the phrase from.Ummmmmmmm...
A beozar isn't alive... it's a stone from a (goat?) stomach that's a universal antidote.
Sillies.
(spoken like the newbie I am)
...and I'm sorry for feeding the bezoar in this thread. Ack.

Bwaha?Yup. My influence continues to be felt on this board. Feel my power, newbies. Feel my power.Caspian coined the phrase
"Only for today, I will devote 10 minutes of my time to some good reading, remembering that just as food is necessary to the life of the body, so good reading is necessary to the life of the soul." -- Pope John XXIII

General questions:
Is it necessarily evil to feed a bezoar? For instance, is it acceptable to feed one something with poison? And is the feeding of poison in that situation evil, by its nature? Or, even if it is, is it the lesser of two evils, the other being allowing the bezoar to live? Morally, is it any worse than starving a bezoar to death?
Maybe we should hash out the philosophy of bezoars, their deaths, and our actions contributing to their timely demise.

Step softly; a dream lies buried here.

"I once heard a tale of a man who split himself in two. The one part never changed at all; the other grew and grew. The changeless part was always true, the growing part was always new, and I wondered, when the tale was through, which part was me, and which was you."
