omigod I am SO in love with ADELE right now. Girlfriend can sing.
you snooze, you lose
well I have snozzed and lost
I'm pushing through
I'll disregard the cost
I hear the bells
so fascinating and
I'll slug it out
I'm sick of waiting
and I can
hear the bells are
ringing joyful and triumphant

I think that's the most awesome thing i've ever heard.
There's another home somewhere,
There's another glimpse of sky...
There's another way to lean
into the wind, unafraid.
There's another life out there...

I tend to get obsessed with songs and listen to them over and over and over again. And a change in the seasons always makes me ravenous for new music ("new" meaning current & new-to-me & anything-that-wasn't-on-my-last-playlist).

So here's what I'm listening to lately:

SPRING playlist
Best for Last - ADELE
Steer - Missy Higgins
Present / Infant - Ani Difranco
Worrisome Heart - Melody Gardot
Let My Love Open the Door - Pete Townsend
Düsseldorf - Regina Spektor
In Your Eyes (cover) - Sara Bareilles
Falling in Love at a Coffee Shop - Landon Pigg
Electable (Give it Up) - Jimmy Eat World
Mercy - Duffy
Madly - Tristan Prettyman
Great DJ - The Ting Tings
I Could Write A Book - Harry Connick, Jr
you snooze, you lose
well I have snozzed and lost
I'm pushing through
I'll disregard the cost
I hear the bells
so fascinating and
I'll slug it out
I'm sick of waiting
and I can
hear the bells are
ringing joyful and triumphant

Voy a llorar... Phantom of the Opera is a decent play, not that great of a movie, and the music is awesome (at least, the main theme; I could do without some, like "Masquerade"). Interesting^W random note: the first time I heard Phantom music was in middle school, when we played it in band. 'Twas awesome.

Phantom of the Opera is a semi-decent book, an overblown--if spectacular--musical, and an extraordinarily dull movie.
