My Multivariate final is over and done with! One down, two to go (plus an eval and a self-eval).

I have no more major projects. It's finals week and I'm not ready to kill myself.

Oh.

Wait.

I told my chair I'd give her my dissertation proposal by Friday.

Whoops.

Okay, but still, my multivariate final is over and done with!

Today I am thankful for the day off, a hot bath, and warm fluffy towls to dry off with.

Today I am also thankful for old friends who force me to see them.

Today I am grateful for my new $2 sleep mask. My apartment just LIGHTS up in the morning and the sun is now rising before 6 AM. Best investment I ever made.

That I have a great husband who didn't mind me buying plane tickets last minute to go visit his sister in CA next week! Her husband, who I really don't like, is going to be away...so I'm going to get to spend quality time just with her! Sooooo excited (she's as close as I have to a best gf).

Today I am so very thankful that I met you.
you snooze, you lose
well I have snozzed and lost
I'm pushing through
I'll disregard the cost
I hear the bells
so fascinating and
I'll slug it out
I'm sick of waiting
and I can
hear the bells are
ringing joyful and triumphant

Funny, I came here to say the exact same thing.

I would just like to place emphasis on "some."

My wonderful husband who came home to fix my emergency.

Good music.

Good night's sleep. Although the cold makes me even more sleepy. I could hibernate.

Today I am thankful that I haven't died yet.

And no one has eaten me yet.

And school went well.

And I don't have to work.

A pretty successful day so far.

Today I'm thankful that it's snowing, and that God is at my side and listening to my prayers, despite my sins.

I'm thankful that my parents allowed me not to go to school today because of the snow.

I'm thankful that I have my wonderful family near me, helping me when help is required.

I'm thankful that I finished the basic outline of the website-project, and it's coming along quite nicely.

That I rarely, if ever, have to drive in traffic. I think if I did it might just push me over the edge of sanity.

That I only have to deal with that traffic for a relatively small fraction out of the year. (For now.)

Even though I sometimes find it frustrating... I'm thankful that when I visit this place, I tend to forget about things that piss me off or make me sad. I even think about specific things I want to say in e.g. the "hate" thread, but by the time I get to them, I've forgotten or just aren't very mad anymore. It's nice, even if I'm frustrated that there was something I wanted to post but then forgot it.
