For Mother's Day, my sweet husband sent me to see Wicked. It was absolutely amazing!! I hate that it took me so long to be able to see the show, because anyone who knows me, knows how much I love musical theatre, and how much this show would touch me.
Anyways, I just wanted to brag about my cool present. Feel free to use this thread to brag about your own cool gifts!

you snooze, you lose
well I have snozzed and lost
I'm pushing through
I'll disregard the cost
I hear the bells
so fascinating and
I'll slug it out
I'm sick of waiting
and I can
hear the bells are
ringing joyful and triumphant

Cool! I haven't seen it or listened to the soundtrack, but one of my friends is really into it and explained it to me... sounds cool.
My awesome present? Well, technically it's for my mom, but I'll enjoy it too... my mom's coming to visit me in London!!! Her best friend will be there too so she got her the plane ticket as a birthday present. I haven't seen her since the end of January, so I'm excited.

Figured this was a good thread to talk about this.
For a late birthday present my older sister took me to see Spamalot in Seattle. I figured it would be awesome because I know Holy Grail like the back of my hand, but they had a lot of additions and funny stuff. It was awesome.
While i'm on the topic, Will took me to see Jersey Boy's in San Francisco for no reason about two months ago. That was one of the most awesome things I have ever seen. It's coming to Seattle in December and i'm really trying to get tickets.
My first two Broadway Shows : )

And there will come a time, you'll see, with no more tears.
And love will not break your heart, but dismiss your fears.
Get over your hill and see what you find there,
With grace in your heart and flowers in your hair.
