Wicked Cool!

Postby steph » Sun May 20, 2007 6:25 pm

For Mother's Day, my sweet husband sent me to see Wicked. It was absolutely amazing!! I hate that it took me so long to be able to see the show, because anyone who knows me, knows how much I love musical theatre, and how much this show would touch me.

Anyways, I just wanted to brag about my cool present. Feel free to use this thread to brag about your own cool gifts!

Awesome! I loved seeing that show, and isn't the music great?

i saw it in previews a few years back because i am OBSESSED with idina menzel.

it's a really beautiful show and so catchy! and nice to see a musical about friendships between women.

i'm so glad you got to go, steph!!!
you snooze, you lose
well I have snozzed and lost
I'm pushing through
I'll disregard the cost
I hear the bells
so fascinating and
I'll slug it out
I'm sick of waiting
and I can
hear the bells are
ringing joyful and triumphant

Thanks, guys! It was seriously the best day I've had in a long time. I'm still dreaming about Oz!

Cool! I haven't seen it or listened to the soundtrack, but one of my friends is really into it and explained it to me... sounds cool. :)

My awesome present? Well, technically it's for my mom, but I'll enjoy it too... my mom's coming to visit me in London!!! Her best friend will be there too so she got her the plane ticket as a birthday present. I haven't seen her since the end of January, so I'm excited. :)

Figured this was a good thread to talk about this.

For a late birthday present my older sister took me to see Spamalot in Seattle. I figured it would be awesome because I know Holy Grail like the back of my hand, but they had a lot of additions and funny stuff. It was awesome.

While i'm on the topic, Will took me to see Jersey Boy's in San Francisco for no reason about two months ago. That was one of the most awesome things I have ever seen. It's coming to Seattle in December and i'm really trying to get tickets.
