I've been crying over home improvement shows and over commercials.

I kind of like myself this way.

Confession: There are certain unimportant things about the girl who's grown to be my best friend here that annoy me. If I were a good person, they would not annoy me, but alas.

Confession: I can't stand eating meat (chicken, beef, turkey, pork or other meats) even though I come from a long line of Cattle ranchers. When I eat meat, it feels like I am eating soggy cardboard and I have to choke it down.

confession: i love cooked onions. i cannot, however, be in the house while they are being cooked or while the smell is still thick in the air. i feel like throwing up when i smell it. it's 35F/2C outside and my window is open so I can breathe non-oniony air. this sucks.

Was one of the two the one about being single at 30?

Confession: I plan my little blow ups for when they're likely to have the most effect. I'm usually not as pissed as I seem to be when they happen, I'm just fed up.

Confession: I gave my mom the all-but-silent treatment because I knew if I spoke she'd see through me.

Nope! I'm not single...

Not the one about wearing women's panties?

Cuz the people at work also do not know that I wear women's panties every day. But I do. Although I strongly suspect that they suspect...

The "I'm still single" one is a course of action I've thought about taking with certain relatives.

Confession: MY friend and I have "true friend hugs." If one of us is upset/frustrated about something then the other hugs the victim hard. This indicates A) "you are upset and I am your friend so I will comfort you" and B) "Quit whining, you'll live." which is actually a lot less callous than it sounds.

Confession: I really want to send an RSVP to a reunion committee to say that I'll go, and then just stay home. I'll probably end up just not even sending the RSVP though.

Confession: I have a choice between three outcomes and I may have already lost one of them. It honestly scares me to know that IFF things don't change for the better, well I might fail to thrive and not live. I really want to live.

It kind of worries me that my first thought at seeing IFF was not that it was a typo.

Oh, I actually knew that but for some reason was thinking it was initials for something. Interstellar Falcon Fighters? Ipso Facto Formation? Whatever.

Confessions: Sometimes I want to throw myself under a train. Not to be run over or anything, but to lay under the train in the area between the train and the tracks while it goes over. Or maybe to roll under the train and roll back out, timing it so I go in the gaps between the wheels. I'd never try it, but I want to.

Confessions: I know I'm not ready in so many ways, and I know that I won't for a while, but part of me really wants to me a parent.

Except when it's a typo. And that is really confusing when it's a typo in a discrete math textbook....

I just read a sequence in a comic strip making jokes about Tron. And I understood them.

Confession...

Confession: I want to post this anonymously under the confessions username so I don't get any backlash for saying it.

Confession: I'm getting more and more convinced that I am - at least slightly - bipolar. The ease from which I can go from elation and happiness to suicidal depression is extremely uncomfortable to me.

Confession: I'd love to feel that high all the time, but I don't care enough to do anything meaningful about it (intoxicating myself to cover the low doesn't count as meaningful)

Confession: I should've used confessions for this...

If you think that you might be Bipolar and it is getting to be a problem for you, then you might consider seeking medical help for it.

I google for his obituary every few months.

Just to see if I'm free from the fear at the back of my mind.

So far, no luck.
That was me.

I just googled and found out.

He died this last January.

I have been pronouncing "shoujo" as "shuu-hoe" in my head for over six years. For some reason, even though I know proper Japanese pronunciation, I seem to try to pronounce things Spanish-ly if they're not in English. And now it feels really really weird to pronounce it correctly.

(Oddly, it was seeing the word written in kana that finally made me catch that I was doing this, since I kinda need to pronounce that one symbol at a time.)

Confession:

This year, upon realizing that it was Lent, the first thought that came to mind was, "Yay! It's Cadbury egg season!"

Somehow I don't think this is what the church had in mind.
