Cause Breakin' Up is (Still) Hard to Do
[edit]
this is intended to be a place where people in the midst of a break up can come to work through it in a supportive environment. if that's what you actually find when you get here, consider yourself lucky.

quite honestly, that stuff always happens when people get together post break up. i know it has for me on more than one occasion.
perhaps i'm amoral, but usually when i break up with a girl it's because i'm not happy with her, but then if things happen post break up, i'm ok with it. i could sit here and list a ton of reasons for this, but i won't bother.
other than that, i really shouldn't be in this thread as i'm about to be married. so i'll get out of everyone's hair.
good luck!

Buffy!
Oh, god, I love Buffy. I have the first 3 seasons of Angel. My boyfriend bought me the third one about a month or two ago. :):)
And I only have the 7th season of Buffy but the video store near my house has all of it. Which is how I watched it. All of it.
... Buffy got me through a breakup, too. And through fights. And everything in between.

you snooze, you lose
well I have snozzed and lost
I'm pushing through
I'll disregard the cost
I hear the bells
so fascinating and
I'll slug it out
I'm sick of waiting
and I can
hear the bells are
ringing joyful and triumphant
well I have snozzed and lost
I'm pushing through
I'll disregard the cost

*hugs!* Calm down!
I'd go with jeans, one of your favorite shirts, and a sweater/sweatshirt (because it's kind of cold out). Go simple, but wear something that has fond memories that makes you feel comfortable and safe and all that s***.
Alternatively, wear a trenchcoat and nothing underneath. That'd really shock him.

you know, it's strange. girls place so much emphasis on what they wear to that sort of thing... really the guys aren't very affected by that. most of us anyway.
we don't see our ex's all dressed up and go "why oh why..." we go "man... i'd tap that again if i had the chance!" yeah we're pigs.
go conservative. or hell, dress however you would normally dress.

I think the point of all that is to make them think they'd tap that again if they had the chance, which reminds them that they do not have the chance. Besides, it's better than having him look at you and think that he wouldn't tap that again if he had the chance.

Depends on how you define help... The guy's just telling the truth about the way guys see things.. If girls understood this and took it to heart, it might make those encounters that much easier for them to deal with...
Wouldn't it be easier if they don't have to worry about how they're dressed, what their makeup is like or how their hair looks?
