We live down the street from a slightly sketchy 80s bar, and every time I pass it I wish Alea could visit so we could go there.

There may or may not have been a Pure Pwnage marathon in my apartment this weekend. It may or may not have made me think of Chris.
awww me, too. I haven't given up on the idea of making it out that way, so as long as you stay out there, there's a chance.

I spoke with one of our British clients yesterday. They sell fancy baby clothes and such (most of which are grey, which I found horribly drab). But there was one word that kept popping up:
Shell the unshellable, crawl the uncrawlible.

Grey is my favorite color and I don't find it in the least drab...but I think I'm in the minority.

I love grey, too!
you snooze, you lose
well I have snozzed and lost
I'm pushing through
I'll disregard the cost
I hear the bells
so fascinating and
I'll slug it out
I'm sick of waiting
and I can
hear the bells are
ringing joyful and triumphant

Not the favorite of mine but grey is definitely a favorite.
Not sure if I'd want to use it heavily for little people but then, I wouldn't be against it if that's what happened, either.

Re: Random things that remind you of PWEB or people here
I mostly meant it seems strangely drab for babies, but I guess that's still calling it drab. I guess I'm just not a grey kind of guy! I did have a polarfleece sweatshirt that was grey, and I wore it a lot for a long time. But in retrospect it wasn't my favorite color.
Anyway! Smocks. Come on, ladies.

Whenever I hear that stupid Feed the World Christmas song, I think of Jan and her excellent takedown of it some time back.

Re: Random things that remind you of PWEB or people here
Oh, don't even get me started. I hate it so much for its crass manipulation of my emotions. When forced to listen to it, I end up cursing the song vehemently, even as tears fill my fool eyes. Gah.
My husband, of course, loves it, as he loves all Christmas schmaltz.

At the zoo today, I felt a weird twinge of conscience when I told Atty "Look at the monkeys!" when we were watching apes.
