Just love short morning flights! Can't get much better!
I think that's why I always come back from vacations grumpy! I can't believe I never noticed it before. I always return from them on evening flights, mostly because people get angry at me for leaving early and "wasting vacation." Next time I will be blunt and tell them that I would much prefer to have an entire day to cool down after the vacation, and that morning flights leave me energized instead of exhausted.

Wow. Revelations up in this.

EDIT: New page! So I quoted for clarity.

I love the red-eye special and sleeping on the plane for the trip home, and waking up there.

I'm afraid of sleeping in the plane, sometimes that warm sunshine and the wonderfull sounds I do admit to nodding off a few times at the stick.

I think you have a very different experience of plane flight than most of the rest of us :P

I'm so happy hunting season is coming. Early bear is on now but I would not think of hunting in this heat!

I love that I have a dress I feel cute in, and i'm wearing it today.
I love our anniversary, and that it doesn't feel like it's been 5 years.
I love the sunflowers I woke up to (and the coffee).
I love my Mister.
I love that it should only be about 80 degrees today.

I love that I ”caught” Tyler still awake at midnight last night because he couldn't stop reading Peter and the Starcatchers. He made it about half way through, just last night!

This weekend is the first weekend I'll be spending in the greater Chicago area, without also having to work the weekend, since June. So much love for the idea of catching up on chores, chilling out, and maybe heading downtown.

Drenching my skin in black tea after I got sunburnt yesterday really helped!

I hella loved our cycle ride yesterday, even if I was moderately pathetic on the way back. So out of shape, buh. But it was a 20-mile roundtrip, and I totally did it! A good cycle ride was one of my goals for the summer, and we had lovely weather to boot! I'm sore today but not as bad as I feared, and it was so worth it.

I love how I'm a little cold at the moment. Sure as hey beats being so warm all the time. Nice thing is, it's supposed to stay in the 70s and 80s for at least the next 10 days.

I love harvest! My partner and some friends got my old and favorite combine all ready and all hooked up gps, ham radio computer and all and I'm dumping my third tankfull as I type . This old gal the origional green godess has cut a lot of wheat and barley and I swear she will always have her own place in the old barn. It's wild how much more efficent the new combines are compared to this 1970 JD 95. I can see Julie parked down at the corner I recon im in some trouble, but I never could resist this old gal's call to get dirty and thrash some grain. It's gonna take a weeks work to get her clean enough to put away again.

I have to say, buckshot, I couldn't farm for a living. Now, having said that, I love your obvious joy in your life and work, and it's a bit infectious. I'd love to come visit and participate for a while! I love how literally "down to earth" your stories are. :)

I need to post in here more often.

I love my friends. I am so lucky to have supportive, generous, kind friends. Our life is pretty rough right now, but it would be infinitely worse without the friends we have!

I'm looking around our living/dining area, and I see a window ledge covered in herbs and a loaf of bread fresh out of the bread machine. I love that my daughter will grow up knowing that food grows in the dirt, that (some) plants are edible, and what real bread tastes and feels like. I love knowing that what she eats is good.

And, once again, I have to say how much I love tea.

Oh man, that's one thing I miss about being a kid: my parents' bread machine. Nothing like the smell of crusty goodness.

I love how I have some friends that are just so loving and caring--my friend told me that she found a Mockingbird on the side of the road while she was jogging one day, spent time feeding it and nursing it back to health, and now she's set it free. That was her summer project. Kindness like that makes me smile; makes my day.

I also love that school's starting back up. Seriously, can't wait to see my college friends. Struggle to do good in classes while balancing my laziness. Workout with a gym and play competitive games of basketball. Eat whenever I like. Everything. Summer's been great, but I'm ready to fall back into the school routine.

Words cannot describe how much I love this. I wish I had been in the audience.
you snooze, you lose
well I have snozzed and lost
I'm pushing through
I'll disregard the cost
I hear the bells
so fascinating and
I'll slug it out
I'm sick of waiting
and I can
hear the bells are
ringing joyful and triumphant

I should be getting in a second shipment of my books from AZ tomorrow -which really means I'll get them Saturday since they won't leave packages and I'll be at work- but there is excitement.

If only I had a place to put them...

This weekend.

It's felt like a much needed recharge/reboot time. Did some chores, watched a movie, have gotten some reading done, have made some small but significant progress with the male half, got 8 hours of sleep two nights in a row (though, admittedly, slightly "wrong" 8 hours but it's a step in the right direction), discovered that life is happier with open blinds during the day -all and not just the bedroom blinds- have had some rain with more expected in a few hours...yeah, good weekend so far.

Backhanded compliments..
Is this one sarcasm or do you genuinely enjoy this?

My mom.

I've been struggling to find decent books in the 700-789 Dewey range to order for the library and they want me to spend that money ASAP (strangely, Graphic Novels and Music is not nearly this difficult for me), so my mom said she would help me find some if I helped her find decent music to order for her library. So now we both get help and I don't feel like I'm taking advantage or not doing my work.
