Re: Things that I love
I like either butter OR jam on my english muffins but not both. I know, I'm weird. I haven't gotten them in awhile but I should.

Sour Dough, toasted with peanut butter while it's still hot from the toaster to melt it down.
I meant to try making english muffins 2ish years ago and I still haven't. I should get on that plan again. And croissants.

English muffins are on my to-do list, I just need to get some rings. Croissants are one of my favorite things to make!

Re: Things that I love
Toasted English Muffins with butter and jam = yes, forever and ever and ever. Also delicious with a touch of melty peanut butter, as steph mentioned.
As for MAKING them - I've had great success with the She Simmers adaptation of Alton Brown's recipe: http://www.shesimmers.com/2009/03/homem ... -with.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
And steph, yes, pweb cooking weekend, count me in! Sometime after September though, because otherwise I am woefully overbooked.

Re: Things that I love
I love when someone honestly surprises me. I was kinda grumpy when I got home from work today and was a little annoyed when Will kept asking me to get online because he wanted to show me something. When I finally gave in I found a surprise tucked in with my laptop, the Molly Moon's Homemade Ice Cream cook book I have been putting off buying until the price went down.
I also love homemade ice cream <3

Fred, that is adorable! That has so happened to me before. (The being in a bad mood and unwittingly thwarting someone's atempts to be super sweet to me. They always get me eventually though, and then I shower them with love and pour heaps of guilt on myself).

Re: Things that I love
I am just bursting.
- Today I am wearing a shirt that I wore on my second date with David. Four and a half years ago. And not only is it adorable that I remember wearing this shirt on our second date, it's also the first time since then that's I've been able to fit into it (and have it look even remotely attractive).
- I spent 2 wonderful hours on the phone with my best friend last night.
- I am making cold pressed iced coffee again and it is seriously the best ever.
- I think I'm done being such a freak and a spaz about everything and immediately getting offended whenever the tiniest things happen and am letting the stress go and just saying "f*** it" to the wedding and everything else. I mean, I am getting married, and all the people I love best will be there, and I really don't give a crap about the rest of it anymore. So, cheers!
- I have cold artisan pizza for lunch today!
- I HAVE A NEW JOB GUYS, AND I START IT NEXT WEEK AND OH MY GOD LIFE IS SO WONDERFUL.
- David's family is throwing me a Downton Abbey themed bridal shower next weekend (I know, right?) and I have to find a costume. I'm actually kind of looking forward to this, because I no longer hate looking at myself in a mirror! (Confession: I have a long loose linen under dress with peasant sleeves that goes under various Ren Faire type costumes and is basically a nightgown, and I have entertained the thought of simply wearing it alone as is to my shower and going as Lady Mary after sexing the Turk to death. PROBABLY I won't actually do this, but I'm thinking about it.

Things I love:
It's almost the weekend.
My family is coming over Sunday.
It's supposed to hit 80 degrees this weekend.
I'm pumped up to work out in the lawn tomorrow!
We've kept our room relatively clean for over a week.

I love that there is nothing left to clean!
My apartment is clean, has been for almost 2 weeks and other than 20-30 min picking up or vacuuming its CLEAN!
I have cooked dinner almost every night! Yummy foods too! Even on the simple nights that were just soup and salad!
I feel all grown up! My house is clean and I cooked!

We got our marriage license today.
(I wonder if I'll ever be able to put the vowels in the proper order in the word marriage on a first try? Every time I type it I get it backwards. Stupid silent I.)

Brian got the promotion! Now we just have to wait to see if he gets to interview for a much cooler position. It would be a lateral move to his new position, but it would be a much cooler, more exciting job.
