Ender's Game Easton Press - What is the cover?

Kind of a silly question. I've been looking at the collectible/leather editions of some of the books, especially EG, and really like the Easton Press version. There's only one problem - I really don't get what the cover art is depicting. I get that the little 3 side panels are the bugger home planet being hit by the little doctor, but what is the front? Ender looking at something, which to me sort of looks like an ant farm. Thanks

For those who don't know, here's what the cover looks like: Image

I, too, am having trouble figuring out what this could be.

I think the ant-farm thought is a good idea.
It also looks a little bit like Ender studying the layouts of the tunnels in formic home planets?

Side note - I think this is a really cool version of the book and decided I would buy it also.
Turns out those cost like $500...

I actually ended up getting it for $200 on eBay after watching for one for a while. And I posted this somewhere else, someone suggested that maybe it's the game he first plays in the game room vs the older student.

Hey cool - that's a much better price.
I went back and looked at the link I was referring to - it was a signed copy of the book, so that's probably why it was so expensive..

Pretty sure all of the Easton Press copies are signed. Mine is.
