Jane leaving Ender and Speaker for the dead.

When I started to understand that Jane was leaving Ender for Miro I got so sad. The separation of their bond which was so special. I know that it would be strange having her around while Ender was married to Novinja (Spelling?) Personally I would have preferred if Ender would have left them all, teamed up with Valentine and her family again and continued on. What do y'all think?
