anyone else ever written a poem about an enders game character or book or theme?

heres a few i wrote:

this one is in ballad format

Petra Arkanian

She was an Armenian girl
She was part of the team who saved the world
Since home from battle school she came
Her life would never be the same

Petra is genius and cunning and bold
With an aggressive boy’s DNA so I’ve been told

Kidnapped and taken away from her home
She faced her worst enemies all alone
She read through their lies and gained their trust
For one day she knew, betray them she must

Petra is genius and cunning and bold

Finally that day came, and a boy came to rescue her
Julian Bean Delphiki, she’d remember him forever
With that boy she learned to love, but it came with a cost
The love they both shared was soon to be lost

Her Julian had a genetic disorder like no other
He would never stop growing, and so he would suffer
And to her children she wanted his genes to be passed
So that after he was gone, their love would last

Petra is genius and cunning and bold
With an aggressive boy’s DNA so I’ve been told

Between the couple a decision was made
The children with the disease must be sent away
And her beloved Julian with them departed
And because of that, she was broken hearted

But she got to keep the normal children to remember him by
And the note he wrote to her that made her cry
She would never forget the ones she loved who were gone
But she still had her work, and so life went on

I would post something about Bean because he's such an awesome guy, but I have no knack for poetry...

There once was a boy named Bean
Who lived in a world obscene
He climbed in the plumbing
To escape death a'coming
Then crawled out to a different scene

Out on the streets
Is where Bean would meet
A young girl named Poke
Whose gang was near broke
Meanly, Bean she did greet

Together they devised a plan
A bully for themselves, they would land
So they could get a place in line
At the soup kitchen with still enough time
To get food in every kid's hand

That only took a couple of minutes, you could totally do it, CT!

It doesn't have to sound amazing... And you know, you can be like me and just ignore the whole meter thing... Er, or what's it called when lines have the same number of syllables? I don't remember, but that! Poems are just fun to write and read! (Rhyming makes everything sound cool, though!)

little brother
gone forever
oh how i miss my little ender

you're off at battle school; don't get hurt
your sister stays on earth
awaiting your return

you're safe up in space
peter won't harm you, never again
and someday i will join you in that sacred place

but for now farewell, i will never forget you
the days i spend away from you will feel like years
and i hope that you will miss me too
