I made a video parodying the writing process of Ender's game. I'm interested in what you all think. (sorry if this isn't the right place..this is the closest section for Ender's Game parodies I could find)

Man... Cmon... You can't post this on a site where most people think of OSC as god :). But anyway, I thought it was pretty funny, just disappointed you chose OSC to do it.

Actually, I'm pretty sure most people on this site hate OSC.

No, just his views and much of his writing.

For me, it's most of his views and just some of his more recent writing that I hate.

Yeah, me too. And the annoying way he jumped on JKR after praising her to the moon and stars.

Which reminds me of a song I love!

For the record, I couldn't care less about Card's views and I haven't read a book by him that I haven't thoroughly enjoyed.

Just thought I'd prove that not everyone's a hater.

Personally, I like the way he works with stories and characterization, the psychological development of the characs, but could go well without the kinda obvious 'message' to the reader about family issues/etc.

Also happen to feel confused by OSC's published views on fellow authors [yeah, as with the JKR thing] and kind of offended about his views on say, gay minority... But then, it's not entirely 'trashing a person', much less 'hating', imo.

The only book I've actually hated, as in, could NOT even finish, was Empire.

Empire is just smelly!

I don't agree with some of his views either but I've decided that the fact that I like some of his books and the fact that I don't agree with every last thought in his head is unrelated.

What do you guys mean when you say "views"?

Well, he's against homosexuality. And coming from Toronto, I can't help but be slightly miffed.

Oh ok. That was a hilarious video. I didn't expect the first cuss word and it was turned up pretty loud. Oops....
