Ender in Exile EiE

Uh, dude? Near death? I believe that Graff already died by the end. I'm pretty sure the last thing he was shown doing was burning up Ender's letter and then I think a little later they said he died, but I'm not 100% sure.

Graff presumably passes away in Ireland some time before the end of EIE, before Ender leaves Shakespeare.

Any book by Scott that revisits the beloved character of Ender is worth purchasing and reading regardless of quality concerns.

It definately isn't one of my all time favs of the series but I am extremely happy that it was written at all and that I got to 'visit' with Ender again. I enjoyed the book.

After reading it I am also of the opinion that I would have preferred to read more about Arkanian Delphiki than about Bella. 2 Separate books exploring both plots in depth would have been the preferred choice for me.

OK wait, Shakespeare is the first Bugger world to be colonized, the world ender is the governor of. Ganges is where Ender confronts Randall/Arkanian and gets the s*** beat out of him. this is in the letter from Ender to Graff, thus Graff died in Ireland after the incident on Ganges.

From Ender in Exile: (referring to Shakespeare)
Yet for some reason they had not done so here. He had found none of the species the formics had planted on Earth during the Scouring of China nearly a century ago. This was one of the formics' oldest colonies, and its flora and fauna seemed to be too distant, genetically, to have shared common ancestors with the formic varieties. It must have been settled before they developed the formification strategy they had begun to use on Earth.

I really love that sentance, old style Card, delivering a lot of interesting information concisely, sort of like how the Scouring of China was merely mentioned offhand in Ender's Game, just an aside, but everyone seems to remember it.
So, Lone Star, now you see that evil will always triumph because good is dumb.
