You don't like me that much, do you? That was just a statement I think is true. Not that I care. Plenty of people love me (not including my parents, la duh) and hate me.
Well, if Jebus is really OSC's son, and he says that OSC really did base Shadow of the Hegemon on Shadow the Hedgehog, I just might believe it.

Heh, you're really learning a lot in this thread. Finding out that the Catholic Church supports polygamy, and my dads weird fascination with Sonic. Anything else I can help you with?Well, if Jebus is really OSC's son, and he says that OSC really did base Shadow of the Hegemon on Shadow the Hedgehog, I just might believe it.

Who said I was complaining? I was stating a fact I believe true. Maybe you are the sensitive one.I just think you're too bloody sensitive and, as a result, complain about things that aren't really as horrible as you make them out to be.
And Jebus, Yeah, help needed. Math brush up : What figure's area equals pi/radius squared and a really hard one, 2x2.
Thanks for the help with my extremely hard homework. Yup, extremely hard.
Is your Pops really OSC?

Jeesh_girl15, I thought your reply to me earlier indicated something like understanding and a will to move your personal sentiments somewhere personal, but it obviously didn't.
You know, we can't be paying attention to you all the damn time. Haven't noticed the actual center of interest around here is Jebus this while?

I was actually telling the truth. Just about another conversation. You don't see me and ^Peter rant it out in this thread. But if it makes you feel better, I just won't post anything personal that could trigger someone else to respond, that would make me respond, and so on. Is it just me, or are you just a tad bit touchy about this? It's probably just me, cause I can see your point perfectly clear.

Or maybe you are just a tad irritating, since you seem to be annoying quite a few pwebbers in a number of different threads. But your avatar seems to indicate that you are already aware of this habit of yours.

The being 'controlled by another' aspect would lend itself better to a series with the word "puppet' in every title, not 'shadow.' The way I see it, being in someone's shadow isn't necessarily about being in their control, it's about being unable to make a name for or distance yourself because they were first or better or bigger or more famous, etc. Sure that is going to give them some power in general, which might lead to control issues but it doesn't have to.I always thought it was a reference to how in the game of life it seems that one is always controlled by another.
Then there's the possibility that by shadow it means someone tagging along with someone else somewhat excessively, but there, the follower tends to willingly give up some of their control to the person they are following. Any other way and really, they're not following, they're being dragged (which I would argue is basically the case for those who are in someone else's shadow the way I mentioned up there...they are being unwillingly compared to/associated with someone they want to be separated from so as to be seen for their own merits).
Of course, I really agree with the fellow on page one who said it had more to do with marketing and making money than anything deep or truly meaningful.

Strangely enough, Shadow the Hedgehog did actually make his first appearance in 2001, the very same year that "Shadow of the Hegemon" was published...
