I loved this Friendship Report from MLP:FIM -

"...It's hard to accept when somepony you like wants to spend time with somepony who's not so nice. Though it's impossible to control who your friends hang out with, it is possible to control you own behavior. Just continue to be a good friend. In the end the difference between a false friend and one who's true will surely come to light."

"Do you know what the chain of command is? It's the chain I go get and
beat you with 'til you understand who's in rutting command here!" -- Jayne Cobb, Firefly

"...the only thing dumber than an argument on the internet is that same
argument in real life." -- Marteen Reed, from a Questionable Content comic.

"I prefer my beverages free of excretions from the nipple of a
large, stinky mammal." -- Hannelore Ellicott-Chatham aka "Hanners", from another QC comic.

I still follow it, those two quotes are from quite a while back though. When I started reading QC I was actually working in a coffeeshop and they were doing a lot of stuff in and around and about Coffee of Doom, not nearly as much these days, but still some.

True words. True, true words.
There's another home somewhere,
There's another glimpse of sky...
There's another way to lean
into the wind, unafraid.
There's another life out there...

"There are no men like me. There is only me"-Jaime Lannister.

I'm 100% still planning to put this quote as the final line in my law school Personal Statement, though I'll take the arrogance out of it.

So the first one I'm doing from memory and will probably butcher but you get the gist. It's from the new Monsters University movie. Mike brings his whole gang of misfit monsters to the Scare Factory and they are going to break in and get to the outer fence (normal junky chainlink) and Mike says something to the effect of "Well here it is guys." and in the background semi-quietly you hear Art (voiced by Charlie Day) say "This is a nice fence." I don't know why but that tickled me just right and I was nearly rolling out of my seat in the theater laughing, a few others were but I think they were just laighing at me...Oh well, I had fun.

Second is a song quote from a metal band called Darkest Hour (so good, check em out. I've hung out with the guitarist Mike Schleibaum a few times, awesome dude) the song is These Fevered Times

"When it hits like a ton of bricks
To the chest, out of breath on the bathroom floor.
I'll make light of this night,
And night of this day,
It's what I tell myself to sleep
When I dream myself awake..."
