One Republic - Apologize

(Ha, I just noticed the post above mine. I sort of refuse to give credit to Timbaland for the song...he did a different beat for this release that's getting airplay but it's still One Republic's and the beat wasn't changed that much.)

Currently playing a song called "Bring Me the Disco King[Loner Mix] by David Bowie and featuring Maynard J. Keenan(Tool) and John Frusciante(RHCP)

I guess it's on the Underworld Soundtrack, but I found a free download of it somewhere online along with a couple other of his collaborations.

Chamillionare ft. Slick Rick- Hip Hop Police (one of the best songs I've heard, greatly recommended to all Hip Hop fans- if there are any here)

The Black Mages- One Winged Angel (AC version. Dunno why, I just like this one better, much more power in it..)
Who controls the British crown? Who keeps the metric system down?
We do! We do!
Who leaves Atlantis off the maps? Who keeps the Martians under wraps?
We do! We do!
Who holds back the electric car? Who makes Steve Gutenberg a star?
We do! We do!
Who robs cavefish of their sight? Who rigs every Oscar night?
We do, we do!

helenberry- Just saw Across the Universe. It was really something! You like the soundtrack? Did they include a lot of dialogue? I hate when they include movie dialogue in the soundtrack... Anyway, I thought there were some really impressive covers and some mediocre ones, but I figure I'll buy it. :) The "I Want You" number was awesome! So many quirky unsung Beatles references in the movie, too. I thought that was cute.

Jimmy Eat World FINALLY dropped their new album, Chase the Light.

It's on repeat, adn probably will be all fall. I'm not even all the way through the track list for the first time yet, and I already have a favorite: Electable.
you snooze, you lose
well I have snozzed and lost
I'm pushing through
I'll disregard the cost
I hear the bells
so fascinating and
I'll slug it out
I'm sick of waiting
and I can
hear the bells are
ringing joyful and triumphant

There's another life out there...

That's a fun one at her shows. She gets the audience to clap and beat their tables to make the footish sounds.

Ever since I beat Portal, I've been addicted to Still Alive. It's gotten me to go back and listen to my other Jonathan Coulton music as well...

RIght now I'm listening to Betty and Me by JoCo.

The two songs that I keep repeating over and over today:

Dreaming of You- The Coral
Your Guts (I Hate 'Em)- Reel Big Fish

I find it to be an interesting juxtaposition. (The first song I've been listening to because it was in an episode of scrubs and I loved it. The second one we might be arranging for the Rice game against Tulsa. We hate their head coach. Last year he was our head coach. They offered him over $1,000,000 and we wouldn't top it so he left... after a year and a lot of pretty "I'm at Rice for a long time! I love Rice. I love Houston!" speeches.)

Wooden Music - Rich O'Meara. This is amazing with the proper audio equipment to hear it. Previously I was listening through crap headphones and couldn't really hear everything that makes this great; now it has suddenly become one of my favorite tracks.

Motion City Soundtrack - Everything is Alright
My favorite song ever. It's like personal anthem.

I bought the newest In Flames album on Thursday, and can't stop listening to it. Scandinavians write the most melodic metal.
80% rad, 20% kick-ass, 10% win. I give 110% to being awesome.

I'm posting in here too much. Meh.

Tyrian background music. I'm not sure if I actually like the music itself, or if it just brings back good memories. Either way, good background for homework.
