how come? autistics are perfectly self-aware, and aware of others. They have a neocortical activity every bit as complex as non-autistic people.
Only difference with the non autistics is that they have a higher probability of lesser intellectual capability, and that they have problems identifying emotional states, and relating emotional states with physical consequences.
Pro what?

So when, by your definition, does a baby become human? some people are so mentally impaired that they have lost much of their connection to the outside world. the fact is that even a baby still in the eutero is aware: The baby recognizes its mother because it has so often heard her voice from within the womb. Even in the womb of the mother, the baby is cogitating. Even in the womb, the baby has a soul.

That's my stance, actually. After the brain is working, starting to shape the phoetus personality even imperceptibly, that life shouldn't be threatened.
Thing is that, for pro-choicers, it isn't a murder.
Think of the PETA guys, for them killing an animal is a murder, because they consider animals to be like human beings in all respects.

Ya. I always thought that was so funny. Have you heard about the PETA guys who are willing to kick people out of their homes because a feild mouse lives there? and the tree-hugging environmentalists! even some of them think trees are people (see link)

While a good environmental policy is good in my eyes, some people take it too far. They are necessary, though: even in ridicule extremes, every idea (that doesn't go against evidence) should have defendants that think that it's the most important issue.
Then people will judge and democratically decide if it really is that important lol
Worst peta campaign was about changing the name of the fishes into sea-kitten XD

I'm gonna throw one more thing out there. I do not like double standards, and feticide is illegal in 35 states. Feticide is an act which causes the death of a fetus. In many, possibly all, of those states, abortion is legal. After 9 weeks is when an embryo is defined as a fetus, it's when the fetal stage begins. Although I believe you shouldn't do an abortion at any cost, from a different, scientific perspective, abortion against 9 weeks is the killing of a fetus. As I see it, abortion in this case would be legal feticide. Why is there this double standard?
