Baby! Baby!
Does anyone else find it odd that we measure the length of babies, not their height? Sure they are mainly horizontal, but it just makes them seem not human.

I used to hate gravity because it would not let me fly. Now I realize it is gravity that lets me stand.

It's neat the way they measure babies...they mark the length with a pen on the paper of the examination bed and then measure that length with a measuring tape. I guess since it's easier than getting the baby to hold still long enough to measure with the tape itself.

Brayden Charles was born on Monday, October 8th at 12:01 pm. He weighed 7lbs 8oz and was 19 1/4 inches long. He is healthy and wonderful. Mom is recovering.
Sorry this took so long. We just come home yesterday, and it's been hectic around here with a newborn and a toddler!

Thanks, everyone! I think my kids are cute too!
Things are going well, even if we are pretty fatigued. So far I am able to feed this kid without supplementing, so I'm pretty happy about that. I just hope my body can keep up with his demand.
It's hard to believe he's over a week old already! Pretty soon he'll be as old as Tyler! He's starting to have more alert time, which is wonderful. I love looking into his eyes. He may look a lot like Baby Tyler, but when you look in Brayden's eyes, you know he's a different kid. It's way cool.
Anyways, we're still trying to get pictures from my mom (she was our unofficial photographer!), but her computer crashed last week, so she hasn't been able to download her pictures yet, but when I get some more pictures, I'll post them here!
