*hugs Steph* My dear, the fact that you're so concerned over your children, be it their birthday cake or the bigger issue of their needs, leads me to believe you are not only a caring, wonderful person but also a fantastic mother who is exactly what they need. Rough days happen, often sometimes, and nothing makes your feelings less than valid...but that doesn't mean they're the truth, ya know?

*hugs Nomi* I'm sorry about this whole thing with your brother. It's not fair and if there's one thing I hate in life above all else, it's unfairness.

:::hugs Nomi:::
you snooze, you lose
well I have snozzed and lost
I'm pushing through
I'll disregard the cost
I hear the bells
so fascinating and
I'll slug it out
I'm sick of waiting
and I can
hear the bells are
ringing joyful and triumphant

awww, thanks, Boss. Between you and three other more textish types, my night more than made up for the day. Well, part of my day helped make up for other parts of the day...but more on that whole thing in Bob, most likely. If I'm not too lazy and distracted, that is.

As for my number:

**hugs back**

Thank you, everybody.

The good news is, thanks to some fast work on the part of a friend, advisor, and an angel sent from God in the form of a person willing to jump in on my committee at the last minute, I think it's going to be okay.
