"D.C. Madam" To Name Names

...she has elicited the help of ABC News to do it, turning over 46 pounds of phone records, a stack about 1 foot high, with "thousands and thousands" of clients that, Palfrey promises, reach "high into the echelons of power in the United States."
I can't wait for this. Deborah Jeane Palfrey outmaneuvered the government for over a decade whilst simultaneously raking in the dough from some of those very same crusaders who were trying to shut her down in Washington. Hopefully those bastards get exactly what they deserve, just like the first victim of her name-dropping defense scheme - Randall L. Tobias (deputy secretary of State and the Bush administration's "AIDS czar")
Tobias, who oversaw global AIDS funding, was charged with enforcing a controversial policy that required groups to sign a pledge denouncing prostitution and sex trafficking in order to receive federal HIV/AIDS prevention money.
Hypocrites tend to get what they have coming, and I eagerly await the names of the other power-players that get their comeuppance from this scandal. It's unfortunate that innocent people may be exposed for simply trying to get laid, but some of those people were concurrently on the warpath against personal choice - some of them no doubt soldiers in the Drug War, the War on Terror, the Iraq War, the so-called "Culture War" and every other war on personal freedom being waged in the halls of government by our beaurocrats and congresspeople. I hope for the best for the D.C. Madam and that her defense tactic works; hopefully, even in this day and age a lowly civilian can bring those in power down to size.
