I'll be honest, I rarely come out and tell husband what I want because then it isn't his idea, it's mine. If I'm the one to initiate all the romance/sexytimes/etc then I lose interest.

Having to write multiple pages for an essay on the spot for my English Lit Final.

I think I've prepared more for these potential essays than I have for any Final I've taken thus far.

Oh, and the fact that it's at 8:30 in the morning. Time to go get my 5 and a half hours of sleep for it. :(

Waiting for grades, especially for a final.
I can't enjoy my time off when I'm dreading my grade..... Blah.

I can't enjoy my time off when I'm dreading my grade.
Are you dreading it because it was a subject/class you struggled with or are you like me and the type to worry about things until you get the confirmation of a job well done despite succeeding at them in the past? Or other/none of the above?

Story you never asked for; in my statistics class, I was taking a test (I don't believe it was the final but it's been too long to remember), feeling really confident, and finished with enough time to leisurely look over all my work. Then, with 5 minutes to go, as I'm turning the test over and getting ready to stand to turn it in, I realized there was more stuff on the back page. Worth something like 40% of the test due to the type of problems they were.

I panicked and just threw work and half-assed answers down, and just eked out an answer to the last question when time was called.

I spent a good hour after that in hysterics, on the phone with my then best friend, telling her all about how I failed my test and how big an idiot I was for not checking the back page. I think I ended up with a 95% on that test. Thankfully.

When people stop reading a book/comic or watching a TV series/movie or playing a video game because they figure out it is going to have a sad ending. "Bluh bluh bluh I can't finish The Dark Tower IV/The Sandman/Red Dead Redemption/Shadow of the Colossus because I know/figured out how it's going to end and it's just too sad! I don't think I can take it!"

That's the point of stories, people. Man up.

I hate that I've been throwing up with stomach cramps all day today. I'm ALMOST over this cold that's lasted 3 weeks and BAM! Stomach bug! This sucks! Tyler's Christmas Break started today and I have lots of fun plans that we're probably not going to get to do. I already missed Zoo Lights and if this passes to the others, we're going to have to miss sledding in RMNP and seeing the Muppets. I REALLY hate this.

What do you think about this comment? Could anything be more ludicrous? I can't lie, I laughed for a good 5 minutes.

Tonight I've had a sudafed, a fake sudafed, and some steroids. An ill-advised combo for a girl who doesn't even drink coffee, but damn, I feel good.

I hate having a house full of people! Everytime I find a quiet spot someone comes and finds me and follows me around the place , then after no less than 2 avoidance maneuvers I end up toe to toe with Julie telling me to "be nice". I can't wait till Xmas is over! Plus tomorrow I gotta go to our Xmas party at the mill and pay out God knows much $ for Xmas bonuses. Sucks to be me!

I hate human spammers who use a few frivolous comments and a copypasta wall-o-text to try to pass themselves off as something other than a waste of amino acids.

That liquids have calories. Logically, I understand how calories work and that liquids have them.

But I just can't make myself believe that a mug of hot chocolate can have the same calories as a kid's hamburger from McDonald's.

But that mug of hot chocolate is so much more worth it.

I hate that latex gloves dry my hands out so much. This semester could be rough.

Some of Brian's coworkers wear thin cotton gloves under their latex gloves. I don't know if that would make your hands too bulky to do the tasks you need to do, but it really helps them.

Are there no nitrile gloves in your lab? If not, I highly suggest you buy your own! Latex gloves blow.

Yea--I need to buy some of those. And hoard them from the greedy neighboring folk.

What I would do is keep the actual box in my room or bag and keep a couple pairs in my pockets for the actual lab.

The trick is not to think of them as "real" hamburgers. They're a completely different food. It's like getting into an argument with someone over if Juanita's tortilla chips or Dorito's Cooler Ranch are better chips; you're really comparing two different things.

EXACTLY. You're never craving a hamburger when you get that stuff... you're craving a McDonald's hamburger. Nothing can compare.

Maybe this post should be in the Things I Love thread.

I am convinced that McDonald's sprinkles crack or something in their food. I think I have a physical addiction to it. I don't really enjoy their food that much any more. If I am going to get fast food, I prefer almost everything else to McDonald's. But every once in a while, I have to have McDonald's and only McDonald's. Nothing else will do and I feel terrible until I get it.
