When you write a big post and then due to some stupid wireless glitch you loose it . Especially when youre already pissed off and a little drunk too. We just got back home from our ranch up north and found the house broke into and vandalized. It's so soo stupid to do such damage and we recently did some upgrades there. It will all be fixed up but it's such a violation and we have'nt ever had trouble there in over twenty years. It's hard to think why some one would walk in so far to do it. The place is behind another farm and the only acess is practically through our neighbors yard. I hope none of you ever get violated in such a way. Goodnight!

I'm so sorry, buckshot! That's really terrible. I don't even lock my doors, so I know that something like that could easily happen here but I always assume it won't. I hope the cleanup and repairs go smoothly.

I hate my life today. I have a UTI, but since it's the long weekend, my only option is to go to the Emergency Room. Then my bagel tasted like mold, and when I flipped it over, sure enough the whole hole was moldy- but I had already eaten half of it. *barf*.
I feel ill.

Awww, poor Jan! *hugs*
UTIs on the weekend are the worst! Can you find pyridium at a drugstore there? It totally numbs the symptoms until you can get to the dr. I'm not sure what the name would be in Canada but the wiki page lists the brand names.

Never before have I been in the peak of a cold on my birthday, and I hope to never again have to. Not only does it not feel like my birthday, but today has been an real s*** day all around. I didn't want to be around anyone, and nobody wanted to be around me.
I can say, without a doubt, that I hate being sick on my birthday.

I don't want to use this thread but I broke my pedometer today. I hadn't missed a day all year, truly hadn't, until today. Even when the clasp to keep it shut broke, I just taped that sucker shut and kept re-taping it every morning after I recorded the previous day's steps. But as I was searching for assumed lost items, the clasp that attached it to me broke and I couldn't rig it to work and I couldn't very well stop moving or leave to get a new one then, so I lost the whole day. That sucked so bad.

<strikethrough>I hate the fact that UPS is probably going to come when I'm at work this afternoon and not leave my phone, so I'll have to wait until tomorrow to have my new phone.</strikethrough>
(yes, I realize that won't work here)
Scratch that, UPS *just* came. Yay, new phone! (Samsung Captivate, upgrading from an LG Incite that is crapping out, goodbye Windows Mobile, hello Android!)

Needles. I am so sick of needles I cannot even express it. Once I finish the round of anti-clot meds, it had better be a long time before I get poked again!

I just went out to fill my bird feeders and got swarmed by mosquitoes. I was out for a total of 3-4 minutes and got 3 bites that itch horribly already.

Oh, I have a bunch of things I do. The x thing, ice, hydrocortisone cream and an herbal roll-on stick that has tea tree and witch hazel.

I had to google "the X thing" because I had no idea what you were talking about, but I came across this: http://www.yesbutnobutyes.com/archives/ ... bites.html and I'm intrigued.

US government say I can't view that site. The x thing we're talking about is digging a mark into the mound of the bite with your fingernail.

Re: Things that I hate
Yes, the article I linked says that somebody did a study and the X thing came out on top of the possible remedies. They also say that an X might not be best, and possibly a star or "satans circus" (upside down star inside a circle) might be better.

The best course of treatment is the one that the patient will be compliant with. That means I'm too lazy to do anything else!

True and wise words, spoken from experience, I'm sure. The best course of treatment is the one that the patient will be compliant with.
