I think every girl I know who has a boyfriend who plays, who does not play herself, has played second fiddle to the damn game.
I've seen quite a few relationships (and lives) ruined because of it. I've seen people ignore their significant other for weeks at a time and I've seen people cheat on their significant other with someone they met over the game. I've seen people drop out (and flunk out) of school, quit jobs, lose their car, their apartment, and their spouse, all over a game.
There have been sillier reasons. Games (not just the video kind) can forge strong bonds; I wouldn't trivialize them so.

I hate when the 15th comes around . I always forget it's payday and bonus day. You would think I'd wake up when I get all dreamy over all the money in the account for this time of the month, or the fact that everybody in the plant is kissing my butt. I can't help wondering if I'm not self programed to enjoy this half day of euphoric all is well-ism just to have it come crashing down in the afternoon.

I hate that as I was driving home yesterday I was thinking how good it was that my truck was running well even though I'm about 80% towards doubling the mileage it had after I bought it, then when I turned my car back on and drove to Harry Potter it was suddenly INCREDIBLY loud and stinky with exhaust. And upon driving home from Harry Potter the check engine light came on. I hate that, especially as it was less than two weeks ago that I paid off the credit card that had been used to fix my car in the spring! gah!

Why won't you have new xkcd comics on Tuesdays and Thursdays?

That guy's slipping fast enough as it is. The comic would be utter crap by now if he had to come up with a new idea every day.

Getting imperfect scores. I just found out that I got a 95 in last year's Math final, and together with the 90 and 97 from the English finals I'm more upset than happy.
I also hate getting anything less than a first place in anything athletic. I don't care about winning accelerated reading awards (or whatever we did at my school last year), But I'm just plain disappointed if I get a second or third place ribbon. Especially in swimming. I know it sounds selfish, but I can't help feeling that way.

The phrase "in this economy".

Economy jokes.

Economy jokes involving the phrase "in this economy".

Edit:

Jokes involving "stimulus package" or puns derived from that.

Also, the Sinfest economy jokes are the exception. The only exception.

Now it all makes sense! no wonder Rush Limbaugh has been jabbering on in terror about anal rape. It's Obama's Stimulus package--far too scary and threatening!

I hate being pinched by this large hermit crab and the fact that they are all underground.

I hope they aren't eating each other....
I also hate being unemployed but I hate being employed too and i hate that I'm not going to get paid until next week when I want and need money RIGHT NOW.
I also hate having to be on unemployment and I want a job closer to home because transportation is expensive and I hate stupid commercials and television shows and folks who diss Dir en grey.

Crying in front of people, even if the people in this case is just my mom.

Being emotionally weak, in general.

My posting anything that shows I'm emotionally weak and me being somehow unable to stop. Old habits die hard.

Hearing the damn Ghost theme at the exact wrong moment, which naturally makes me cry more. AAAAGGGH.

Fable II. Never have I seen a game that has put me to sleep so consistently, and has seemed so completely pointless. I still cannot fathom how people enjoy it. And, by association, Peter Molyneux.

I hate getting stuck on a sudoku for ages until I eventually plug it into a solver in exasperation and it tells me, "can not be solved by logic, you need to guess a step."

Well f*** that. What a waste of time!

I've been complaining for ages that Sudoku sometimes requires guessing, and everyone tells me that no, no it's all logic and no guesswork at all! *mutters*

I do not like the Supernanny theme. As it sounds silly.
I also hate when I get paid and suddenly all of the money is gone because I suck.
Because I have to pay bills, and rent, and I want a birthday present for me. ect.
I hate that my unemployment has been lowered which means having less money.
ARG.
I hate having problems with money. I will do something about this if it's the last thing I DOOOOOOOO!

Also the phrase last think I doo is funny.

It wasn't until I happened to have captioning on one day, that I realized the Supernanny theme says "Be good, be good, be good, be good." I had no idea what it was saying.

I found that out too! Because I had close captioning. I thought some guy was just squeaking random weird noises.

Is that a mantis? naw, that's a flower.

I hate not having a good job close to home and more money because I'm silly and spent too much ca$h.

I hate waiting for parcels.
I hate waiting period
I do not like when something is supposed to be delivered but it doesn't get delivered.
I hate getting cuts
especially when you've watched some show talking about all the bad things that can happen from one cut
I don't like the fact that I am honest and decent
or the emergency alert noise.

I'd have so much more money if I was less honest...

For example when I was working at the stupormarket I found 10 dollars and asked, did someone lose this and of course folks will say YES but I needed that money as I wasn't making DIRT at the time.
And yesterday I found 80 dollars in the parking lot of the Chinese restaurant. And left my number for someone to call me about it... -_-

BUT I NEED THIS MONEY! AUGH!

Trying to order anything from amazon.com from my work computer. My computer is SO much better now than when I was an intern -- I mean, it's not even funny -- but for some reason it gets all glitchy on amazon. It's taken me about three hours to make this stupid order. (Granted, I did other things while waiting for the pages to load, but still.)
