Dear You's,

I just came out, in a manner of speaking, about zero on FB so it is a good time to once again ask a favor of you all: please do NOT mention Pweb in any shape or form on my FB page. My family can see that and I just really don't want them following Google searches back here, so I'll be deleting any such comments ASAP if they should pop up.

Thanks,
Alea

I liked your little slip-in of "zero" in your FAQ. :)

That wasn't on purpose, actually. I mostly had a headache and felt like throwing up (my mom was not too happy to hear about it that way but I wasn't too happy about ever having to tell family, so nyah) while I wrote that.

Seriously! I don't think I've ever called him ********* or even used that except to say, "Really? Is that really your name? I know it is but I don't get it."

His friends call him by his last name, which I have used a few times, mostly when teasing him, but 99% of the time, he is zero.

I'll be completely honest an admit his real name has faded from memory, like a dream. It ironically had no meaningful substance to it. Plus it was capitalized, and what's the deal with that?

Dear you,

I got your letter in the gorgeous envelope. I didn't consider it a loan but a service I could provide that you paid me back for. :) Also, I just lost one of my earpins of a set that I have worn for over 5 years. It's a bad time to be an earpin.

Dear You,

:D Glad to hear it arrived (thank you, again) and seriously, what is going on with the earpins of the world? I haven't taken off the white ones I wore to Adam's wedding yet and I'm kind of tempted to see how many years I can wear these before I lose one. Only kind of, though.

Love,

Dear you,

I'm watching Phantom of the Opera at Albert Hall and, as always, the music reminds me of you. Specifically of that week in Florida with you, sitting in your house, singing it together. I heard you are doing really well. I am so, so happy for you after all the pain and difficulty you went through. I wonder if you ever "think of me" and remember that I went through all those hard times with you. Someday a thank you would be nice. But if not, you'll still always have a place in my heart.

love,
nom

Really? A Charmed episode about a demon in a movie that incites audience violence first thing this morning? Someone should have caught that.

Dearest You,

It's a lovely crib. Comfy, clean, and close to Mommy. So why won't you sleep in it for more than an hour or two? I mean, it beats when you only slept in it for 5-10 minutes, but still! I'm really tired.

Love,
Mommy

This has apparently become my "I'm too lazy to PM people" thread. Ah well.

Dear You,

Updated! There should even be a new update on Thursday and I messed with the "design" so it feels all pretty and shiny to me. Not that this is important information or whatever. Yeah...

Love,
Me

Dear You,

Remember how all those years ago we'd watch Vh1's awesome pop culture shows and I'd say stuff like, "When I grow up, I want to do that for a living"? Apparently there's a whole professional organization (scholars!) dedicated to pop culture and I never even knew. I feel like I've missed my calling in life, even though my calling wouldn't be any higher paying or respectable (less, even) than my current one. Still. *sigh*

Me

Dear Yous,

You look so great in my apartment, even though some of you are homeless and stuck on my bed. Never fear, I won't take advantage of you. I missed you terribly.

Indeed.

Dear You,

I like dogs. Including so called "vicious" breeds. My best friend had Rottweilers that I loved growing up. That said, FIX YOUR DAMN FENCE. If I ever, ever hear your goddamn German shepherd running up behind me and my baby again, barking, if I ever find myself wondering how the f*** I'm going to protect my baby if Cesar Milan's rules fail me, I WILL be calling animal control. I'm going to assume you're a generally responsible dog owner who just made a mistake in how he constructed a makeshift patch for a hole in the fence. But I have your address and it damn well better not happen again.

Dear you,

I can't believe you. I can't believe you lost them. Do you have any idea what a waste of money this will be if there's no possible way to get into PAX if you lost your badges? The train tickets, the expensive hotel that's in a super-convenient location, the plane tickets that your friend, who is flying over to spend the weekend with you, bought, the business cards that you made so that you can shmooze--all for naught, because you, most likely, threw away those two stupid pieces of plastic? Why didn't you put them in the Important Things drawer, like you seem to remember doing? If you did put them there, why aren't they there now? Where did they go?

I know you threw them out, by accident. With all of your junk mail. There had better be some system in place that lets you get in with proof of ID, or I will kill you. By hand.

Dear Sabrina the cat's owner,

When told that your cat became aggressive and bit someone (me) during her visit today, the correct reaction is to apologize and ask if the person is OK. It is not to say "I don't believe that!" when told on the phone and "I'm here to pick up my cat who bit the doctor" when you pick up.

You are lucky I like animals. Your cat is overdue her rabies vaccine and it would be within my rights to demand euthanasia and testing her brain. If I thought it was possible she was rabid and not scared, I wouldn't hesitate. If I was more vindictive and less of a cat lover, I would do it to punish you. But she doesn't deserve that. But, my hand hurts a #### lot and you are a huge bitch.

No love, The vet your cat went all exorcist on yesterday
