This is by far the most depressing thread I've ever seen.

I mean seriously people. It's Friday night. Did no one do anything fun tonight? Do you remember what outside smells like?

Delusion, John.
Which would work if h_k wasn't prone to fits of insanity and HBC wasn't an ineffectual c***.
I really hate being the wet blanket on this wonderful thread, but... name-calling?
I didn't actually call her that! I just put "c" and 3 stars. Scouts honor.

LooLoo: it was 16. It's dropping.
You wouldn't let this bullshit happen. I'd hate you for it, but you'd be a good mod.
Just so we can all finally get to the heart of your f****** problem, exactly what "bullshit" is happening that you feel other mods wouldn't allow?
Actually, I just came up with that on the spur of the moment. But I'd say that there's bullshit going on today. Most of it my doing.

Edit: I mean, this thread is awesome and I smell like a baboon's rear-end.
I had my nap during the St. John's Passion concert earlier.

EDIT: And I walked home. Plenty of outside for me.

Yeah. And you see, the only reason the mods are letting you continue with your bullshit is because action against you would only encourage your behavior and probably make you feel like you had reasonable complaints.

i had a great time tonight, Ollie. i'm back in boston for easter and i hit a bar with a few friends i haven't seen in ages, sang some karaoke and brought the house down, came home and got into some pjs, and i'm all set to go read for a bit before bed.

then, the cherry on top is coming online and having this just waiting for me. who could ask for anything more?
you snooze, you lose
well I have snozzed and lost
I'm pushing through
I'll disregard the cost
I hear the bells
so fascinating and
I'll slug it out
I'm sick of waiting
and I can
hear the bells are
ringing joyful and triumphant

Because they don't want to encourage your ridiculous behavior? Because you're being an unreasonable douchebag? Wow. Just... wow.

Umm... do you want to be warned or banned?

But Nick, he gets his jollies provoking nameless people online.

This says something about his social life. Fetus, you know, I'm glad you made a new friend so you won't be spending every Friday night alone, but there's only so much time people can spend together before they get sick of each other.

I know it's a new concept for you, but you don't want to get banned from your only real social interraction.

What I'm really curious about is how come Kelly got nominated to look after the religion forum.

Kelly, have you ever even posted in there?

maybe her not posting there is why she was elected....

the reasoning might bethat if she doesn't care enough to post, she doesn't care enough to not be partial...

That being aside, perhaps asking the question would've made more sense before he was banned....

I really don't care about who mods or not. For me, Rahl22 is and will be the only mod-god, and EL the only sexy-moderatrix.

But, EL, i am surprised at you:
I'm allowed to vote, so I'm going to use a short-cut and say: status quo.
I mean, honestly...
I could have expected anyone but you to say this.
Really, if i saw this without the name, i thought any other person but you wrote it.
How could you? "Status quo"?
 *goes to cry at the corner*

Hint: say that someone hacked your account, and i'll believe you.

maybe a total of 15 tmes in all 3 Pweb incarnations. i would've declined my nomination, had it been "real" and not "mock", for a variety of reasons, the two most important being that i don't post/read much of the religion/philosophy forums and wouldn't care to start doing so, and i have no desire or time to be a mod, much as i love you all. i'm perfectly happy with my mini-mod status over in the book club.

Wow, and this is what I miss for sleeping on a Friday night.

Good to know I didn't dream it after all.

Geez, I go out on Friday night and look what fun I miss. That's it, I'm giving up the notion of "real life" altogether.

I will say though, I got a great laugh when I tried to envision what life with that particular mod team would look like. Every post would end with the word "tumbleweed".

I've been elected to mod the forums besides Religion and Milagre? Why would anyone do that to this forum? I rarely go there... I don't even like OSC anymore, I would bitch-slap everyone into reading Gaiman.

Because he's obviously going for entertainment value instead of any logic to his choices. At any rate, at least it'd be a way to spice up those silly forums.

I know. But I put you up anybody because if time was not important and you were willing to take the job (which I was pretty sure you wouldn't) you would be a damn good mod. It's a shame that you wouldn't in some ways, but some things are more important than pweb.
I've been elected to mod the forums besides Religion and Milagre? Why would anyone do that to this forum? I rarely go there... I don't even like OSC anymore, I would bitch-slap everyone into reading Gaiman.
I think you could do a good job. Sure I've run afoul of you in the past, but you're one of the fairest mods here.
Because he's obviously going for entertainment value instead of any logic to his choices. At any rate, at least it'd be a way to spice up those silly forums.
Actually, I chose a group who, if they were willing and able to do it, would do the job well. They're people who can set aside the bullshit and get to business. I'd hate them for it, but they'd be better than what we have now. Sadly, it would never work, and I'd have to put in others to replace the ones who wouldn't do it... and it just wouldn't work.

Eriador, I see absolutely no problems with the way this board is run. I THINK that most people feel there is no need for a change, except you, and its not even clear why you think things should be changed.

Eriador, if you really want a popularity contest, maybe you should bring back the Pweb Awards. :stoned:
