Not as serious as the above post but I love that I had just enough milk this morning for a bowl of cereal. I didn't feel like walking to the story to get more.

The only thing I love more than that, involving milk, is when there is not enough for cereal, but there is enough to justify making a peanut-butter/banana/chocolate smoothie instead.

I love working on my new project
Unlike EA it doesn't need up to the minute monitoring and I don't plan on spending so much time promoting it.

"Audit the Fed" passed in the House, and VT's Representative Peter Welch (a Democrat) was a co-sponsor. This renews my faith in our state after the fiasco with Leahy and PIPA.

I love it when Pandora plays songs I like, all in row. I know that's the whole theory behind it, but most of the time it doesn't happen.

I read that as "Audit the Fred" and wondered why Fred was being audited.

I love that that big spam botnet that got taken down recently seems to have been the source of the majority of my spam. Gone from dozen(s) a day to one or two every few days.

I know I'm easily amused, My friend had just finished bailing his hay field and then let out his huge white bull in the field to seperate him from the cows. As we drove near his farm we could see a huge dust cloud (thought he was moving some machinery around) anyhow the damn bull was stomping, jumping, and throwing himself into the big round haybales and got several of them rolling at once. We stopped laughing our asses off when he started rolling some into the fencing pretty hard and we helped Tom run him out of the field with a couple ATV's. Totally funny, I was stupid for not using my phone to up load it! :toocool:

I don't know, that would certainly amuse me! But then, I am also easily amused.

Today I love community gardens. I picked a bunch of fresh peas, some pretty flowers for the table, and some fennel greens. When they get a bit bigger, I might take some lettuce or kale. I'm very jealous of their beautiful lettuces, as that is the thing that failed the hardest for me this year.

El "I wish you were near by! Our gardens are too big and we feel we are slave to them. I spend a lot of time just trying to give stuff away , It is nice to always have something fresh to gnaw on but we gotta learn to downsize.

45lbs (which isn't much, truth be told) of my books are making their way here from AZ. I'm prepping the Peaches and Herb song "Reunited" for their arrival.

I absolutely love that my 9yo niece is mad about Dr Who! I got her to start watching it with the promise of "time travel and aliens", two of her favorite things. She is now into the second season and wants to watch more episodes every night. Yay, nerd genes!

Well, that is not the entirety of my collection, that is just the portion of it that is making its way here at the moment. It's entirely likely that's only my OSC collection but I am not sure what my mother decided to send.

I have a suspicion that the portion of my collection I bring to school every year is around 250lbs at this point. Don't know how much it would be if I counted everything I have to leave in the home bookshelf that I don't have room for at the moment (e.g., ALL of Brian Jacques)

Last I checked (Packing to Leave TN) we had 420ish pounds of books in our collection... its hasn't grown much in that last year.

Alea I trust your mother used media mail at the post office... Its Super cheep compared to any other shipping method for books that I could find.

buckshot, I would gladly take as much produce off your hands as I could freeze, can, or eat fresh! I visited another of the community gardens today and took a bunch of rhubarb and some broad beans and a bunch of herb cuttings. Some of them I will hopefully not kill!

Oh god, someone take the Cheez-Its away...I am a sucker for all sorts of processed cheese-based foods.

(I'm going to admit it, I like mac n cheese that comes with bio-hazard level bright orange non-powdered but not-quite-a-liquid cheese in a pouch.)

Lying in bed with Atticus right beside me when he's feeling chatty. He talks at some length and plays with his toes, and looks at me confidingly with his big brown eyes. I answer back, in English or baby or a mixture, and we just chat, interspersed with baby giggles and mommy giggles. Sometimes we both get the joke. Sometimes only he gets it, but the giggles are infectious.

Too soon, the mood changes and he wants to move. But I am left with the feeling you get after a meaningful, good conversation with someone you're close to. Which, I guess, is what it was.
There's another home somewhere,
There's another glimpse of sky...
There's another way to lean
into the wind, unafraid.
There's another life out there...

Reunited and it feels so goooood,
Reunited 'cause we understood
There's one perfect fit
And sugar this one is it
We both are so excited 'cause we're reunited, hey, heeeey
