How was that funny? She just stood there.

And don't tell me "haha, that was the point" because if it is then that video was pointless.

It's funny because everyone is so used to getting links to videos of babies dancing to that song. Also, the introduction to it as a baby "rebelling" is funny.

It's also funny because it's Jayelle's kid looking adorable and eventually trying to get the camera.

Wow, peterlover...you are not going to endear yourself to anyone here by insulting (in a roundabout way) our adorable pweb baby.

Jan, that was great and I love her striped socks!

The few but still exciting sales I've made in my etsy shop! I've been wearing a matching hat and fingerless gloves that I made and people keep complimenting me on them. So, I started carrying around my etsy business cards to hand out.

That video of Ginny made me both laugh and awww at the same time. When did she get so big? Seriously.

I sent it to my friend who had some strange obsession with different people dancing to that song. She also thought it was hilarious.

By Richard Wright, using gold leaf. It makes me sad that it'll be destroyed when the exhibit ends and I think his artsy talk of "It adds meaning to the painting, knowing it won't be around forever" is bunk. It won't last forever anyway; why destroy it sooner? Anyway...I <3 this.

It is a bit ridiculous the amount of joy and inner calm I get whenever I see hawks on my drives. It's like a brain hug.

I love coffee and coco.

I love that it's getting cold enough to snow (but I don't love that it's not actually snowing yet).

I love Christmas trees with tons of lights.

Not that I know much about it... but my knee-jerk response would be that most art like that would most likely stay around for the entire lives of all currently-living people. If it were just destroyed far in the future like it would be is effectively the same as if it existed forever; from the audience perspective.

Well, I posted that thread more for things that make you laugh that really aren't funny. Andy is supossed to be funny. When you laugh at a 5th grader who fell down the stairs, that's when you post it there.

MediaMan. It's a lame Windows version of Delicious Library, but it works almost exactly the same. Sadly, its barcode scanner doesn't work as well, meaning half of the time I just end up waving my book in front of my webcam and feeling like an idiot until I give up and type in the barcode, but there's just something awesome about having my entire library of books, comics, movies, and games all in one place. So if I, er, can't find one I can, um, find it.

It's just fun.

When it's so cold outside and so windy and it's just awesome. I just went outside for a few minutes and stood with the wind roaring in my ears. Then I came back inside and my glasses were fogged up completely; which I also love.

Edit: Sounds like you could use a cuecat, Mich.

I almost let this slide, not on purpose (see: Confessions -> overwhelmed), but I wanted to respond. I'm not an elitist, artsy type person. I don't need to know artists' messages and the supposed deeper meanings. History can be fun, in a trivia sort of way, but beyond that, it starts to strip the experience of enjoyment for me. In this case, I think the image was supposed to be a comment on capitalism and how this was being destroyed so it couldn't be owned.

But without getting too deeply into the argument of whether or not a reproduction (picture, here) means it is ever really destroyed or whatever (takes me back to art class), it makes me sad that the reproduction is all that will remain. Destroying it doesn't make me cherish it more, it means people after me can't cherish it at all.

Whoever gave me the advice to always pick Free shipping on Amazon because usually they'll go ahead and ship it early without charging you anything.

Good advice. Every single book (except one) that I ordered yesterday afternoon got shipped this morning.

When cute boys call me.

One of Steph's little men must have been playing with her phone because I got a call while at work and let it go to VM. I ended up with a 5 minute message (I think what it'll allow before it cuts you off) of little person talk.

Thing that I love: Futurama.
4 Shows I wish would never end:
- South Park
- The Simpsons
- Spongebob (yes, I love Spongebob. Sue me)
- That 70's Show (a little too late for that, but still. Also, while we're talking about that, Just Shoot Me! was pretty nice as well)
Stick Futurama on there. I've now, finally, watched every episode, and I wish they would keep making those movies...
After watching some episodes, I understand why you said that, Mich. I just can't stop watching the series, and can't wait for the new season.

And the most awesome part is, that show has 4 feature length movies! 4! I was so happy when the Simpsons movie came out, so imagine my thrill at the prospect of 4 movies of a favorite TV show.

ETA: I forgot to mention, one of the movies is named "Bender's Game". If that ain't win, I don't know what is.

I don't know what that was supposed to be. I didn't finish it. Too weird for me. And that's saying something. :) The song was kinda cool though.

I love when I do something right. Especially here on Pweb. It gives me hope and reminds me that one day it will be me picking on some ambitious newbie. Right now I kinda wanna cry though. :)
