parchment paper.

It makes cleaning up after making chocolate chip cookies soooo much easier.

not to mention its super easy to transfer cookies from cookie sheet to cooling rack with it, instead of nigh impossible. :-P

My new second generation iPod Touch =) Too bad I can't seem to download applications into it, though, because even though I registered my product in the Apple website, the iPod still can't find the account. Anyone has any advice?

Edit: figured out the problem.

Drive-through pharmacies. It's so nice not to have to unpack the kids for such a short stop!

On that note, off to the pharmacy...

double post, so I'm probably cheating, but there is nothing, and I mean NOTHING that is better than hearing the voice of the one you love after a very long time

Tax refunds. Especially when they allow me to both make a cell phone payment and, important part here, buy a ticket to see Fall Out Boy in April!

Ditto this. I'm able to totally pay off our credit card (which was interest free anyway) and pay for my wisdom teeth removal. Yay! Although the refund is way bigger than it should be, so I'm having Mark raise his exemptions so the government doesn't get to keep so much of our money all year long.

- that my cat showers with my husband every morning and then waits to get dried off with her own towel

- that I get to wake up my beardie every morning and warm her up on my chest before getting out of bed

- getting meaningful compliments from someone who has never also insulted you; they are much easier to believe and take to heart

- that my niece adores my husband and calls him "her t-rex"

- reading to my niece once a week (finished James & the Giant Peach, on to The Trumpet of the Swan)

- learning about new trees, plants, animals, bugs, etc.

- hugs from my older brother

- singing

Well, I don't mind those either. The overall aesthetic effect is good.

Also, I love tax returns. Preferably done via my accountant. I hate all things econ, except the getting money back part.

Looking for red-tailed hawks while driving the highway home. Today I saw three in about a 5 mile span, all in the 100-foot-wide grassy median. I always wonder...what are they doing sitting there in the median staring at the ground? Looking for food, I guess. The other day I saw two but they were on tree branches. The most I have seen in that same 5 mile span was six. It really makes my day.

I love remembering my childhood book fairs. Who else thinks of a certain beloved pre-teen book series every time they see a red-tailed hawk/hear of them mentioned?

I apologize for leaps in topic.

I love good kids music.
