Ah. Walks of shame, I take them with pride. (Oxymoron?) I'll never forget my best one. I had to walk ten blocks in nothing but a pink towel in the middle of the afternoon. The stares that I got were priceless, if only I had a camera at the time.

I have the best walk of shame story ever, but maybe I shouldn't put it on the internets. :p

ya know what I love though, my job. Yeah I was bitchin about it earlier this week, but that's cause I'm not sure where I want to be this year and next year, but I'm now sort of seeing that clarify now. :P

TELL IT!
you snooze, you lose
well I have snozzed and lost
I'm pushing through
I'll disregard the cost
I hear the bells
so fascinating and
I'll slug it out
I'm sick of waiting
and I can
hear the bells are
ringing joyful and triumphant

I love having an office with someone who has political views similar to mine.

I recorded it last night and I can't wait to watch it! Tyler calls Alton Brown "Grandpa!" I love it!

I love that quite by accident, I stumbled upon the name of a movie I first saw as a 5 year old on HBO and have been looking for ever since. (BMX Bandits is the movie)

Monday mornings. Not only do I start in the 3rd period, so I have time for whatever I want- it's also my weighting morning, where I check how much weight I lost. And usually, seeing that makes me happy.

I love finding what's wrong with my code, and fixing it. Makes me happy.

Also, I (sadly) love chocolate. Very very much.

You know that little papery thing that you tear off a new pringles container? I love the most recent image that's on that thing. I haven't had pringles in several years, but I bought a can recently, and I saw that pattern, and I just love it.

It's basically the pringles face/guy about to take a big bite out of a pringle. But the way his mouth is opening... it's just this really huge smile, and he looks so incredibly happy. It's just great.

Feeling like I really, actually, truly helped someone.

The answer they tell you never to say at interviews when asked why you went into this profession: "I want to help people." Or, "I like to listen to people." But, goddamn it, it's just the simplest explanation, and true at its cliche core. I want to help people, I like to listen to people, and I like it when they feel better for having talked.

battle mode on the snes is better, but only two player. battle mode on the DS is nearly as good, 64 comes in a distant third in mario carts, imo. the gamecube versions are okay, haven't played the wii version much.

Things that I love. Pweb. :)

Racing, battling, I don't really care. It's all amazing. My friends and I get quite...violent...in all of it. As one of them put it: "Mario Kart reveals people's true character." (ie we're all evil, manipulative, back-stabbing jerks)
I must confess that I've never played the snes, ds, or wii versions of Mario Kart. Just the game cube and the gameboy advance. So, they might be better, but I'm passionately attached to my 64. :D
I used to hate gravity because it would not let me fly. Now I realize it is gravity that lets me stand.

Oblig xkcd.

It seems like the more shouting a game involves, the more fun (in a group) it is. Smash and Mario Kart have certainly been that way with my friends.

I heart mario kart! so much shouting and ranking and backtalk=awesome. and that is my favorite xkcd ever. :) it used to be what my bookmark to xkcd linked to. It's especially true of the DS version.

I think the DS is probably the best mario kart overall I've played, though I maintain that the SNES has the best battle modes. :D

I love strange/goofy redneck colloquial phrases

from my Dad: Hornier than a three-peckered billy goat

from my Mom: Slicker than snot on a doorknob

ETA, I just realized you could apply both equally well to politicians. :)

Tacos!

real, tacos preferably from a cart or insanely tiny hut (like Chanos or Cactus) I had a regular asada and and a beef fajita burrito and both were awesome, but for the first time I really 'got' Cactus, I think I've been jipped on prior visits because tonight's taco was mad amazing, alot of times mine have been bland, this one was awesome, dancing across the mouth with heat from the green salsa but not burning it up, just a taste and sensory overload of awesome. mmmmm

Even when he chews on his cage all day despite the numerous chew toys in it, the fact I took him for an hour-long walk today and the fact that I let him run around the apartment for so long that he eventually calmed down and pooped in the corner, even when he claws at my hands for no reason when I'm putting him down, even when he is illogically scared of the other rabbit in the house; I love my rabbit.

Huh, Interesting. I found that the DS version of mario kart was way too easy. After playing a couple days and getting 1st place every time, I gave up and put it away. I have yet to try it for the Wii though. I always loved Mario Kart.

But as for things I love? My DS in general. It's AMAZING. I can play games on it, and then turn around and practice my japanese. I'm insanely in love with the fact that My Japanese Coach has managed to do the one thing I always thought was impossible - teaching me to read and write japanese. I could speak at least decently in bits and pieces prior to buying it, but I never even bothered to learn kana. I assumed it would be way too difficult to conquer. But - nope! I learned Hiragana in 2 days, and katakana is coming along nicely. I've been a bit lazy about playing every level to get me fluent quickly in katakana - a few days off here and there. But still - I'm impressed. Not bad for a video game language learning device!
Also, The World Ends With You is one of the best handheld RPGs ever. Maybe THE best.
And I'm currently really enjoying Sonic: The Dark Brotherhood.
Yay for DS!
