I love the way falling snow looks. Especially with it being so windy; it's swirly and gorgeous!

(Jury is still out on accumulated snow, though I do want some of that, too, so I can do various snow-things.)

We've had one day of now here and I desperately want more! I love snow so much!

We have no snow. I want some so it looks pretty but I don't want to drive in it.

We got some snow yesterday, but not much. My poor state is in a drought! (I think the mountains got much more than we did down here, so that's good.)

When I leave work, I have a print to pick up, then it's 3 days of movies, hot chocolate, chai, and egg nog, a few presents, artsy-ing about, and as much reading as I can get in.

I LOVE that the forecast is calling for snow to start falling in the afternoon/evening on Christmas eve and continuing into Christmas morning.

It's getting colder and colder, and i'm hoping so much for a white Christmas. I just don't think it's going to happen, i'll probably just have to deal with freezing rain : (

We're looking at a 20-40% chance of snow between tomorrow and Wednesday. Naturally the only time I really want snow is when it's not very likely to happen; I'm pretty sure the whole point of living somewhere where it can snow is to get it on Christmas. :grumble:

Have not had it in ages.

Being back home after a too-long vacation.

My New Year's Resolution is not to leave town this year for anyone else's reasons. I really don't care.

Missed you, too, P-Web. Browsing on mobile is too difficult for me, I guess.

Nom has just suddenly taken off.

She's signing, and picking up new signs, and finally managing her sippy cup, and today she learned to draw, and she dances now, and holy crap I can't keep up with this girl!

Some friends and I watched Sylvia Scarlett on iplayer this evening, and I think I'm in love with Katharine Hepburn. Or more specifically, Katharine Hepburn cross dressing. If I ever cut my hair short again, it will probably be like hers in that film.

My doctor gave me 2 good pieces of news today!

1. They are now using dissolvable stitches that seal from the inside. I don't have to go home with only the fusion of flesh over 4 days holding my entire abdomen together.

2. It is now standard to have skin-to-skin time after a c-section!!!!!!! Usually, Brian leaves with the baby to the nursery right after I give baby a kiss. Now they get to stay with me, baby laying on my chest, while they finish closing me up and in recovery! I'm so excited and I'm so hopeful this will help my milk come in sooner!

Wonderful! I got skin to skin in recovery, but wanted so badly to hold him while they closed me. Still, it was definitely better than him going to the nursery. I hope it helps your milk, too!

I love the super light, cottony snow that falls when it is barely warm enough to snow. It is so much easier to brush off a car that the thick, wet stuff. And a lot prettier.
I used to hate gravity because it would not let me fly. Now I realize it is gravity that lets me stand.
