Does it taste better while pregnant? I found that OJ was super-yummy when I was pregnant. And I have a friend who could write sonnets about it.I actually prefer with some pulp -- I'm one of the few people I know -- but these days I'm drinking OJ supplemented with calcium, and that usually comes without.
One Duck to rule them all.

Really are long-lost cousins! God I love OJ so much, and I love pulp in.I actually prefer with some pulp -- I'm one of the few people I know -- but these days I'm drinking OJ supplemented with calcium, and that usually comes without.

And there will come a time, you'll see, with no more tears.
And love will not break your heart, but dismiss your fears.
Get over your hill and see what you find there,
With grace in your heart and flowers in your hair.

Wow. Pweb is a pulpy place.
Jan -- YES. Orange juice is amazing right now. Holy goodness. As are oranges. Oranges make me very, very happy.

I guess I'm the outlier. No pulp for me. I don't like to chew my beverages.

If you have to chew your pulp... You're doing it wrong.

(in response to my own question) I tend to get it with pulp, but mostly because I enjoy things being different than the norm, and people tend to get more insulted when you have pulp than if you don't, so you never get orange juice with pulp if you don't buy it yourself. It's just more fun to mix things up! Orange juice in general is delicious.

Yeah, it's one of those things. It's why I framed it as such a serious questions. People who don't like it really don't.I never realized pulp was so divisive of a topic. It seems like you either LOVE pulp, or you LOATHE it. not many people in the middle on this topic.

For those of you with spouses, SOs, roommates, or family members who stand opposite you on the shores of the Pulp War, how do you reconcile your juice purchases? Do you avoid buying juice altogether? Does one of you always have to concede to the other side? Do you each get your own juice?
David is a pulp lover. Juice is a splurge for us; we loooooooove it but don't buy it very often. When we DO buy it, David takes one for the team and lets me get no pulp because of how much I truly despise it. When he's sick, though, I buy him the pulp explosion OJ. Everyone deserves the OJ of their choice when they're sick.

you snooze, you lose
well I have snozzed and lost
I'm pushing through
I'll disregard the cost
I hear the bells
so fascinating and
I'll slug it out
I'm sick of waiting
and I can
hear the bells are
ringing joyful and triumphant

Luckily, Will's not a huge fan of orange juice, so when we buy it, it's with pulp

We'll probably buy no-pulp because Rei hates it, and yeah, it's easier to take one for the team. But OJ is such a treat that I'm still thrilled to have any at all. Sometimes we really splurge and get a carton of each!

Chris and I both agree on no pulp.
Whenever i drank pulpy OJ as a kid a hated it because it felt like it was getting stuck in my teeth and made for a unsatisfying cereal experience. I couldn't drink milk as a small child so i eat my cereal with juice instead. kicks with OJ, Cheerios and flaky cereal with AJ.
My step dad was a pulp person so I have any memories of straining out pulp while pouring juice on my cereal.

Okay. Non-pulp things that I love --
My cat, Tara, likes to curl up against my belly these days. She is a fan of The Little Bit. (That's what we think the cats call Little Bit -- "The Little Bit.") She just gently curls up on or right next to my lower abdomen whenever I'm on the couch, at least for a while. She used to prefer to lay next to me, if she bothered at all. (Donny is her favorite. I'm Reece's favorite.)
Reece, on the other hand, does not seem to know or care about The Little Bit. He likes to clomp all over my belly right before he demands rubs and scritches.

I don't think Leonardo DiCaprio ever was before, ever has been since, or ever will be as beautiful as he was/is through the filter of a fish tank with Des'Ree's Kissing You in the background.
I love that song and I love that movie and was reminded of that while reading an awful book about Shakespeare's brother and time-travel.
