Killed my friend in Gunz. Two or three times.
Not to mention, killed at least 20 people. Though I may have died like 60 times.

I guess this one lives up to the thread title because I told the boy about this one and he thought it was dumb.

I sweat prettily this past week.

Normally when I do anything exercise related, my hair gets all out of order and my face turns splotchy and unattractive, which I never see happen to other girls. In my dance class last year, for instance, they all looked like they were shimmering or whatever. I, on the other hand, looked not even close to presentable. But this past week, I got to work, went to change out of my biking clothes, and because I was in the employee, single person bathroom, I could see myself in the mirror as I changed. And I looked like my normal colored self but a bit shimmery. My hair was a bit frizzy but otherwise, I was kind of excited by the fact that I finally looked like all the other females I've ever seen when they sweat.

...

Okay, it's kind of dumb sounding but whatever.

I did not flip off my company's CEO when she walked by as I was waiting to fill out my HR paperwork.

The gay library assistant at the university referred to me as "handsome".
It's not "noob" to rhyme with "boob". It's "newbie" to rhyme with "boobie".

The other day I washed, hung up/folded and put away ALL of the laundry.

Today I completely cleaned the bathroom.

I removed and destroyed the hard drives from my old computers so I can finally get rid of about 15 years worth of old PCs without worrying about personal information being compromised.

I've been meaning to do that for ever!

Meh, I'm not worried about personal information. The reason I won't get rid of my 18 year old Performa is that if I did I'd have nothing to play Sim City 2000 or Sim Tower on.

Shirley you can get those to play on more modern machines. I'm not sure if some kind of compatibility mode or emulator would work, but if all else fails I think you could get a virtual machine running Windows 98 running well enough (which is what I used to do for a couple of games).

Last year I got all of my old Sim games running just fine on my Windows 7 machine. SimAnt, SC2K, SimTower. No idea why they worked so well. Compatibility mode, probably.

Shirley...
I have to ask, did you do this on purpose? To set someone up for the classic Airplane/Leslie Nielson joke? Or was it a typo and you've never even heard of Airplane?

Sweet. Know anywhere where I could download the games? I'm pretty sure I've got Sim Tower, Sim Farm and Sim Isle on CD, but I know for a fact that Sim City 2000 was on like 8 floppy disks and I don't know if we still have the old USB floppy drive.
I also miss SimTower.
This may keep you distracted for a while, but ultimately it'll just make you hunger for the classic Sim Tower that much more...

Oh, yes, I do that nearly every time I use that sentence... structure (sentence formation? grammatical construct? "thing"?). I might do it too often, but I don't think I say "surely, blah blah" all that much anyway, so it hasn't been a problem. That's just always what I think of whenever I start to say it in my head.

I'm actually not sure if I've seen Airplane! all the way through. But I've seen quite a bit of it, and I've seen a few scenes from it many many times.

No idea, apart from, ah, the usual sources. You know. I lucked out and had a roommate that still had all of her old discs.

Recently My girlfriend and I broke up due to her commitment issues (she admits that we were a great couple and she 'wanted to want me' but didn't know how), she's huge nymphomaniac and is sleeping with anyone and everyone. Knowing this girl more than anyone I know it's only a phase for her that may last a few years. Just 1 hour ago I was raging angry at this and ready to kill something, I was angry that I still cared for her but now I've accepted that I'll always care for her, when she is broke and down, I'll give her food and a bed, I'll comfort her through all the broken hearts yet to come, when she finds a crumpled $10 note in her hand and cry's knowing she just sold herself I'll be there to hug her until she's better. One day when she grows up and that snuggle needing lovey dovey girl I know and love come out permanently I'll envy the guy she chooses to be with.

My achievement is that I got over my anger, accepted the facts, thought long and hard about everything and chose a path I am happy with.
Never go to bed angry....
Stay up and plot your revenge.

Three triumphs today. I suppose they could also be considered life points, but I'm in this thread already and too lazy to switch.

1. I officially joined a campus club. And ordered the t-shirt, which is awesome.

2. I have survived two whole weeks of working and going to school (first time in my life I've done this). We'll see how it goes next week when I have my first round of exams.

3. I bought fancy wall art. Okay, it's a poster. But it's a pretty poster!
I used to hate gravity because it would not let me fly. Now I realize it is gravity that lets me stand.

Posted a link on reddit that got over 600 karma and has been on the front page of r/gaming for over 10 hours. Feeling pretty good about myself.

Especially considering the post consisted entirely of the goofy screenshot doodles that I use to open my blog.

I finally convinced my husband of the need to have some non-blue jean pants. And we both survived shopping for them. Even though he insisted on cheaping out and I'm going to be ironing like mad on Sunday mornings. That's kind of okay. Ironing for him is my one really wife-y thing. I enjoy it.

I like men in suits being limited to special occasions, that way it doesn't lose its charm. If it were more everyday, I'd still find it attractive but the shiny would wear off.

I imagine you'd have some ferret (or is it raccoons who like the shiny?) problems, if that were the case. Sporting small-ish, furry animals can be sexy but that's not a case of it.

I bought shoes that are just for running. It sort of seems like such a frivolous/wasteful thing, spending money on mono-tasking shoes, but I'm hoping it's a good investment for my body.
