Count me in the lumpy breast club!

Also, I strongly believe God holds a special place in heaven for nurses that are clear about just how undressed you should get.

That is the problem with wide-set (and small) breasts: no hope of ever being able to hold anything in my cleavage. The Breakfast Club trick is entirely beyond my grasp.

To this day, that trick as performed by the Molly Ringwald of that time, seems like one of the least believable things in that movie.

Bet I could do it. Putting it on my "to do" list for the day.

Oh, I have no doubt you could do it. Molly Ringwald of the 80s was not built like you, though, which is why I doubt she could have really done it without some serious knee-help.

But I look forward to hearing your report on the experiment.

Verdict: harder than it looks. Possibly because, while my cleavage is ample, my mouth is tiny. Ended up with a Joan Crawford-esque look, the second time. The first time was a preschooler who can't quite stay in the lines.

I do believe that they used stunt boobs for that scene.

Sorry to butt in on all the lady talk!
Ok appologies in advance for lots and LOTS of pictures... I'm sure Alea will be pleased :)
Here is a history of chris and I by time and weight. in reverse order...
...
Looking back... I think I look very similar with even with the 40 extra pounds. It all seems to have settled in my arms :(
My girlfriend put on about 35 pounds from the time we started dating until about last Christmas, when her doctor told her it was probably a little heavy for her body size (she's worked really hard and knocked off 20 since then). But I really hadn't even noticed until we started looking back at old pictures. Same thing though, about it mostly settling on her arms.

And I've also heard it through the grapevine that the lumpy-breast club is definitely a thing. "Dense tissue" or something like that? Based on what you're all saying it sounds like it is pretty common!

I finished my rx cycle. Just have to wait and see if the results are lasting! *crosses fingers*

People in my lab were talking about this today. I'm so glad you posted so I didn't have to look for it! The British accent really makes it 10 times as awesome.

Hey Steph, how is your "situation" going now that you stopped the prescription cream? Mine is not all better, unfortunately. But I don't know if it's just general irritation or ongoing yeast. I'm just kind of randomly trying different creams (I have a plain cortisone, the cortisone with yeast medicine, and some non-medicated stuff) trying to stave off the itch.

It's doing pretty well. It's not staying 100% healed, but I'm happy that I'm at least 80-90% better than I have been all year.

I'm sorry it's not helping you! Did you take it for 2 full weeks? Those were the strict instructions I got from my doctor.

I'm a couple days late... but I'm trying not to make a big deal out of it.

I just stopped birth control at my last period and I haven't been off BC or had a monthly period since I was 17 (I've been doing suppression method BC since then) so I can't decide if it's body-figuring-out-no-BC late or might-be-a-baby late.

I scared of being disappointed and feeling ridiculous if I take a test and it's negative. I'm trying to wait a week to buy a test but I can't stop thinking about it!

*hugs*

Waiting a reasonable amount of time to test is the HARDEST thing, ever. And those five minutes when you do test feel like hours. I sincerely hope you don't have to go through this wait too many times.

Waiting sucks. Good luck making it through!

So, 2 weeks after going off my cream, my yeast came back. Luckily, I was going in for a routine check anyway, so I was able to talk to them about it. I got the same stuff with instructions to use whenever I'm having a problem for the remainder of pregnancy and see if the issue goes away after birth. (I know it won't. But at least I have some relief in the meantime.)

I was kind of hoping you'd take it in the bathroom at the store so I wouldn't have to wait 20+ minutes to hear the outcome.

Think of us, Kim, think of us!

:P

(Excited to hear!)

I keep staring at it. I can't decide! There's a strong line and a teeny little light line. I can't decide if that's a positive or the antibody strip.

That's how mine was, hon. You're preggers! Test again in the morning to confirm - it will be darker then.

*hugs*

First try! How cool is that?

So, any one want to bet on whether it's a boy, girl, or new litter of kittens?

Congrats Kimmie!

They really need to make a digital tester with a simple YES or NO screen like those fancy new diabetic blood sugar thingies that are advertised on TV all the time.

They have them, but they're more expensive and less sensitive. Says the woman who peed on a gazillion different sticks over the three months we tried.

Looks positive to me! Though I took at least 3 tests to convince myself for my first.

Congrats!
