I have marked a couple of books to take. My fiction is very limited, and I'm hoping future visitors will bring me some of my library. I just have to make sure it's very organised before I go.
Ender's Game and Pastwatch are coming, as are a copy of LOTR and The Necessary Beggar. Possibly Speaker for the Dead. A fair amount of schoolbooks will also need transport (dictionaries, style guide, research stuff).
Meanwhile, I have decided to start my own version of Kirsten's "A Dissertation Story" and have created a blog: http://eaquaelegit.blogspot.com/

Well I realize it is a bit late; but I have always been slow, so here it is anyways.
Congratulations Ali.
Right now my Master of Science is too far away for me to even taste; but that is the price I pay for taking one class a semester.
I know this is old news; but I did not see it posted (or missed it), what school are you going specifically? Is it Cambridge or another school in England?
I bet it is going to feel so good to study Latin on the continent it started in, even if it is scary. Heck, I probably would jump at the opportunity to study Latin in Europe and I **** at languages, just ask anyone. Then again England is the only other country I have dreamed of living in besides this one.
Best of Luck

Well, here goes!
I've got an acceptance letter and a place to live, and I'm putting money down on the housing. Point of no return?
Oh, and my visa application is almost complete. Yeeeeeeeee.

I'm so excited for you! What a wonderful opportunity. You've worked so hard for it and I'm so glad it's working out! Prayers will be with you as you begin (and continue through) this journey.
