Gilmore girls
Did anyone watch this past Tuesday? Gilmore Girls is the only show I have time to watch. I can't believe it's the last season.
Anyway, I couldn't believe that Luke just walked away after Lorelai said she slept with Christopher. I mean, I thought it was the one chance she gave him to talk and he blew it. Maybe he didn't want to talk when he was angry. But I am still sad that Lorelai won't even talk to Luke again, because I want to see them together, but she has a point. From my point of view, it seems like she's being stubborn, but I can understand that she was hurt a lot and Luke stalling to marry her was the last straw.
Now, as to the poll question, I WANT her to end up with Luke, but it seems like maybe she will end up with Christopher. My friends think she should be with Christopher, since she has a child with him, they were in love before and still have a connection, it just wasn't the right time when they were young. They know each other the best. And the past couple seasons it seems like they have been preparing Christopher to be a good husband to her, making him responsible with Gigi and having the other woman walk out instead of him.
So, I am obsessed with this show. Anybody else?

bbbbut I want to know how it goes?!?! I want to know what people are talking about!
I agree it does seem to be getting somewhat weird. When it gets to a part where I tell the characters not to be stupid it's annoying. But I still want to watch the rest of it.
Uh oh.

I'm not sure which season Logan shows up in, but it's not until Rory goes to college. So you may not have encountered him yet.
And yes, I hate Rory with Logan too. I admit he has grown on me a little since they first started dating, and I thought the meaning of the rocket gift was cute, but there is still a lot about him that annoys me. He's still that anti-commitment boy trying to be committed and I feel like he's just going to hurt Rory again.

Now that I think about it, I'm pretty sure Rory meets Logan in her second year of college. Then they started really dating last season.
I liked Dean, but she screwed that up, and it didn't work the second time because for one, she broke up his marriage, and two they didn't have the time to spend together. I never really liked Jess, but I like him more than Logan.

The very beginning of the episode begins with Luke driving directly from Lorelai's (where she told him she slept with Christopher) to Christopher's apartment. When he opens the door, Luke punches him in the face and leaves.
One of the comic relief parts was Kirk setting up his own diner outside, "Kirk's," right across from Luke's diner, which is closed due to the damages from Kirk wrecking the car. Kirk even offers to let Luke apply for a job. Luke crumples up the paper and throws it at Kirk.
TJ is helping Luke fix his diner back up, and doesn't know about the break-up at first. He keeps talking about Liz and Lorelai and the four of them doing things together.
Luke gets sick of it and goes to the hardware store, but passes Lorelai in the street on the way there. He basically tells her he's over her, that it wasn't as big a deal to him as it was to her (this was all in the preview from last week) and was basically being a jerk because he was mad.
Rory goes over to Lane's, who just got back from her honeymoon. The honeymoon was a disaster. The hotel Zach (or Zack?) booked ended up being 24 miles from the beach in Mexico and was in the apartment of some guy named Pedro. Zach drank the water and was sick with a parasite for most of the trip. Lane goes on and on about how their first time is horrible, and she tells Rory how she thinks there is a global conspiracy, because sex is not good but everyone says it is anyway. Lane later explains that they wanted a romantic first time, so they had sex on the beach, but it was cold and dirty and there were crabs, and basically it all went wrong. Rory tries to explain to Lane that it was just their first time, it gets better, etc.
Luke goes over to Liz and TJ's house for dinner, and they find out about the break-up. Liz tried to fix dinner, but the oven is broken and the dinner doesn't get done, so Luke goes to the grocery store to pick up something to make. He runs into Lorelai (who was going out of her way to a different store to avoid Luke), and Luke says he will get over being angry, but they aren't right for each other and they need to stop trying so hard to make it work because it just wasn't going to. Lorelai doesn't say much and it's pretty obvious she's hurting through the whole talk. She smiles, but it's pretty awkward-looking and she obviously doesn't want to believe what Luke is telling her.
When Rory comes home, Lorelai had set up the whole house as "Asia," since Rory was supposed to go there with Logan. During the festivities, Christopher calls and Lorelai doesn't answer, but Rory hears the message Chris leaves and finds out about them sleeping together. Rory is angry because she feels like Lorelai messed up the whole happy father/daughter thing and basically just feels like Lorelai was toying with Chris's feelings. Lorelai explains that she made a mistake, she knew it was wrong, but that she's allowed to make mistakes.
When Rory goes back to Lane's, she finds out Lane is pregnant. Lane is obviously freaking out, she didn't want to have kids yet and it was all the result of her first horrible experience with sex.
The last scene is of Lorelai crying alone on the couch in the living room, and Rory walks in, sees her, and sits with her.
Details enough?

i'm just really upset that Lorelai called Christopher at the end. And I expected them to do more with Lorelai and that cotillion girl who so obviously was meant to represent her. But they didn't.

Nova - TelevisionWithoutPity has great recaps of G.G. if you want to check it out.
This is it from me:
Basically, Rory thought Logan didn't reply and was stressed, but it turned out he did. They end the show by texting each other dirty messages (*yawn*)
Chris takes Rory out for supper and when they get back, Lorelai is there and he tells her he's in love with her. At the end of the episode, it fades out to her calling Chris. (boo)
Lane tells Zach that she's pregnant and he projects his freaking out onto Brian until he finds out that Lane is freaked out too, then they freak out together and things are fine between them.
