The Hunt is On!

Postby Fodi » Sat Feb 10, 2007 3:05 pm

Ok, me and some of my friends decided we were going to have a scavenger hunt. Small teams with one car per team. There is a list of stuff to do and stuff to find. We have plenty of people and cars, but we find ourselves short on ideas. I decided to ask for ideas here since you guys are all creative geniuses, or something.

Traffic cones

garden hoses

spare hubcaps

hookers
The Makeout Hobo is real, and does indeed travel around the country in his van and make out with ladies... If you meet him, it is customary to greet him with a shot of whiskey and a high five (if you are a dude) or passionate makeouts (if you are a lady).

Things to find:
-a flower (plastic or otherwise)
-a hubcap (it's a good one)
-a beer bottle (not a can)
-a stick
-a piece of duct tape (this might be harder, esp. if you aren't allowed to buy things)
-a brown paper bag

Things to do:
I don't know where you all will be doing this, but here's some ideas:
-give money to a beggar (picture?)
-kiss a statue and take a picture
-kiss one another, in public, and take a picture
-go to some specific place, and get something there (so, for example, a coffee shop somewhere, bring back one of their paper cups)

Stealing traffic cones is illegal.

-a cup of water from McDonalds (or fast food of your choice) drive thru with twelve straws

-a copy of any Harry Potter book or movie

-a crayon with an unusual name

-a Scrabble piece

-a "man" from a board game
One Duck to rule them all.
--------------------------------
It needs to be about 20% cooler.

But we have a stack of 5 for my dog to play with. I realy doubt my brother bought them.

My roommate did something like this in high school, but most of them were wayyy inappropriate.
these are things you can take pictures of, but not bring back:

- drink an entire bottle of syrup
- kiss someone in high school
- write something in sidewalk chalk in a public place
- make friends with a complete stranger

This is no game! This is a very serious, no funny buisness hunt, and should be treated as such. To call this a game would be to belittle this glorious event, insult all those who participate and take away from the dignity of scavengers everywhere.

That said, thank you all for your numerous contributions. Your names shall be remembered forever in the hallowed halls of scavenger hunt famedom.

not to mention, the game room thread is for playing actual online forum games in, not for anything remotely related to a game.

Shut up and contribute to the thread, kids.

-1 barbie and 1 ken
-find a stranger to sing ymca with you and take a picture
-have all group members jump in the air and ahave someone take a picture all feet must be off of the ground in the picture. (it's surprisingly hard)
Yay, I'm a llama again!
