Know what's as bad as having your balls slammed in a door?
... Well, nothing ....
But know what's close?
Having to pack up and move your apartment on short notice.
How has your week been going?

Breaking your fibula and tibia in half hurts more than getting kicked in the balls. I promise you that.
ah, but does it hurt more than getting your balls slammed in a door? these are the key questions.
hang in there, Ollie. exciting days are ahead.
you snooze, you lose
well I have snozzed and lost
I'm pushing through
I'll disregard the cost
I hear the bells
so fascinating and
I'll slug it out
I'm sick of waiting
and I can
hear the bells are
ringing joyful and triumphant

i don't think Ollie was asking a question so much as illustrating exactly how unpleasant he finds the task of packing in a rush. the suggestions are certainly creative, though.

I'm sorry, Ollie! My brother and Sis-in-law (Dave and Janna) had to move out on one day's notice once. That sucked. So they can understand. Me, I hate moving just in general, it doesn't matter how much notice I have! It seriously stresses me out.
Good luck to you! (I miss you, by the way! I seriously don't have nearly enough time to talk these days!)

Every time I hear that, I want to beat the stuffing out of the person who said that with a stick. My reasoning is I'm doing them a favor.
The Makeout Hobo is real, and does indeed travel around the country in his van and make out with ladies... If you meet him, it is customary to greet him with a shot of whiskey and a high five (if you are a dude) or passionate makeouts (if you are a lady).

Okay, now I remember why I stick around this place.
Young Val: Thanks! I am way excited. I almost piddled.
Eaquae Legit: Who you calling a rookie, newbie-mod? P.s. I never realized until this moment how unfun typing your SN can be.
powerfulcheese04: Yay 5 weeks!
ValentineNicole: Thanks for feeling my pain, man!
steph: Thanks, and I definitely hate not chatting too. New job = more free time, however. Here's hoping.
Jayelle: Hate is a good word for it.
Okay, now that I've caught up on my correspondence, I can get back to boxing up books. (My beautiful, precious books! Don't worry darlings, I'm not abandoning you!)

Poor books being stuffed into boxes... Which reminds me that I've got to find a way to smuggle more of my books out here next time I go home >_>

It's not a pain to me. Probably because I hear all the syllables, and it's a langauge I'm used to working with. :p
