The Annual Christmas Gift Giving thread
Like the Taal thread, but this is for everyone. Give your fellow pwebbers an imaginary gift!
It's loads of fun, and I can't remember the last time we did this.

To Ollie, I give a private island with a huge mansion with a theatre for private stage performances and movie premieres.
To Jan, I give Leilani Duck, who is holding 2 plane tickets to Hawaii so Jayelle and Caspian can have a romantic place to start making all those babies! (We want Mini-Caspian! We want Mini-Caspian!)
To Alea and Jani, I give a night at RENT for the 3 of us together. All inclusive: sitting in the center rush seats, signing the RENT wall, and hanging out with the cast after the performance.

To Young Val, a pretty new scarf and gloves set. And a new blanket for cuddling with while having breakdowns. (I love my breakdown blanket!)
To Jebus, a baseball bat that makes sound effects when you swing it. Just because that's what came to my mind when I thought about Jebus just now.
To blueantoidgirl, dinner with me and Brian, since we don't live too far away.

To fred I give a penguin. His name is Bartlett.
The Makeout Hobo is real, and does indeed travel around the country in his van and make out with ladies... If you meet him, it is customary to greet him with a shot of whiskey and a high five (if you are a dude) or passionate makeouts (if you are a lady).

To Alea I give a day off where she dosen't have to do anything but stay in bed, eat ice cream, and watch whatever tv/movies she wants.
To Nick I give a pony with a paper horn glued to his head. His name is Charlie. I also give a bag full of chicken strips, because I still have left overs.
To Josh I give solid gold tumbleweed, because how cool would that be?
More later.

And there will come a time, you'll see, with no more tears.
And love will not break your heart, but dismiss your fears.
Get over your hill and see what you find there,
With grace in your heart and flowers in your hair.

*hugs steph* thank you.
to naomi, i give the comfiest pair of birks ever, and a copy of my favorite "dear reader" lj entry, because she is always so supportive of whatever i feel and write, and it makes me feel as though it's ok for me to express myself that way.
to steph, i give one full day off to use however she chooses. cooking, cleaning, babysitting (if wanted) are all covered. also, burned copies of the workshop version of RENT before it hit broadway that was given to me by a very well-connected friend--slightly different songs, slightly different plot elements--and an absolute must-have for any RENT fan. (assuming she doesn't already have them, that is).
to janelle, i give a well-worn copy of F&Z with all my favorite parts marked, also a complete walking tour of astoria in ideal weather in order to prove it's got "plenny'a'chahm" as we say in boston.
to ollie, i'm paying your muse's parking meter so she'll stick around. that way you can keep writing without any pesky block creeping in.
more soon.

you snooze, you lose
well I have snozzed and lost
I'm pushing through
I'll disregard the cost
I hear the bells
so fascinating and
I'll slug it out
I'm sick of waiting
and I can
hear the bells are
ringing joyful and triumphant

I actually have a chococat plush doll, but thank you DP for thinking of me!
And thank you Jayelle for the hugs. I'm actually sleeping well right now because I've been sick. Maybe it'll take.

To Jason: I give a paper-grading slave.
To Ali: I give a super-secret, super-short transatlantic passageway that will ensure she gets to visit her family and vise versa whenever she wants/needs.
To Fred: I give a better job (= more $) so she can live comfortably and with less stress.
To Josh: I give Mac-Pr0n.
To JL: I give hand/finger puppets, instruments, and books she doesn't already have and really wants for her storytime.
To Kelly: I give a new journal to document this new phase in her life where things are going her way, so that she may always look back on it.
To Steph: I give an evening out with her dearest friends and her husband, at the location of her choice (restaurant, home). Fred already took care of the kids.
To John: I give American citizenship. If necessary, I'll marry him off to a single friend for long enough to make that happen.

Thanks for the gifts! My brain is too tired to think of gifts for pwebbers this year, so instead, everyone gets a snowball of real Colorado snow! Enjoy! (And don't throw them at me. Anyone else is free reign.)

It wouldn't work out; I don't cook and I mostly despise kitchens.Aww come on. The least you could do is marry him yourself. To John: I give American citizenship. If necessary, I'll marry him off to a single friend for long enough to make that happen.
