I thought I'd point this place out again, as I was bored and just redid the logo for the group.

For those of you not in the know, Last.fm is a music community site thing. You sign up, download a plug-in for your music player of choice, and it starts tracking what you listen to. After so many songs, it's starts building charts, offering recommendations, and giving you musical neighbors. It also has forums and groups and all that cool stuff.

So, head over, sign-up, join the Pweb group, and start listening.

Looks like fun, but I'd have to check with my dad first.

It doesn't cost anything. You just listen to the online radio, which you can customize to your liking, or have have it track the music you listen to on your MP3 player.

Its basicaly a myspace or facebook that focuses on your musical interests and gives you neighbors from around the world with similar musical interests based on your charts.

AND you get your own FREE customizable radio. Just thought I'd say that again.

It's not cost or anything, it's just that he's all weird about downloading stuff he doesn't know or understand. He freaked a little when I downloaded AIM.

I'm still the only one whos posted on there in the last six months or so.

You even get to see the stages of my confusion as pweb went down, the site came up, then the forum but I didn't realize I had to reregister.

Funny stuff. Still nobody notices...

I'm on there, but my account is dead until I get a new computer that's compatible with the new software since the old scrobbler plugins seem to be on a second tier access deal with the server.

Yes, that also explains my long gap in submissions. When I upgraded to Tiger, iScrobbler didn't work for me anymore. I finally downloaded the new last.fm scrobbling software. Frankly, I liked iScrobbler better.

I saw your threads at last.fm, but didn't have much to say in response.

None of the groups I belong to over at last.fm have very active forums, chiefly because the members of all 3 groups are drawn from other forums, not on the last.fm site, and we discuss stuff at the original forum where we "met." :)

That doesn't mean it is predicting the future. The page was just generated in the future, and sent it back in time so you could see it now.
